those rough ridin' angels thought they were so smart with their home runs.  show them how to win, royals.

I liked Billy's warning-track power today. Couple it with his recently hot bat and there is a glimmer of hope that he'll find some power.

He really only has WTP, he has his own BBQ sauce, how does he not have more power

I totally agree.   BBQ sauce should only be for Homers.

Danny Valencia is worried he broke the hamate bone in his left hand. He's going to get an X-Ray right now.

If he did break a bone.......how in the eff do u break a bone swinging the bat?

Does that mean they would have to bring moose back up?

Can we change the thread name from royals to small ball?

Did it say swinging the bat?   Maybe he did it sliding?

The hamate bone is the bone most commonly fractured when an amateur golfer hits the ground hard with a golf club on the downswing. The fracture is usually a hairline fracture, commonly missed on normal X-Rays. Symptoms are pain aggravated by gripping, tenderness over the hamate and symptoms of irritation of the ulnar nerve. This is characterized by numbness and weakness of the pinky finger with partial involvement of the ring finger as well, the "ulnar 1½ fingers."

The hook of hamate is particularly prone to fracture-related complications such as non-union due to its "tenuous" blood supply.[2]

It is also a common injury in baseball players. Several professional baseball players have had the bone removed during the course of their careers.[3][4][5][6][7] This condition has been called "Wilson's Wrist".

whatever the injury is, it occurred during the at bat.  they came out and looked at it before letting him hit a double and score the winning run.

I agree with you on Ciriaco, hopefully Infante is back tomorrow & they send Ciriaco down. I want to see what Paredes does in a game with the bat. He has been with the team for 2 stretches this year & only has 1 AB. He has some speed because Yoster uses him to pinch run from time to time & he has 2 SBs. Paredes is a utility guy that can play the outfield or infield positions & he was hitting .327 in Omaha.

WTF is up with the MLB replay? Yesterday with the Gordo catch there was no evidence/camera angle that showed the ball touched the wall & with Dyson there was nothing that showed he was off the bag & the call stand on his stolen base attempt.

Has Cain changed his at bat rituals? Shortened them? His ABs piss me off much less lately
