I really doubt many people will be "rallying" around the coaches if we continue to field the same product we've seen the past couple of weeks. Of course there are going to be the Snyder and Co. die hards who will blindly ride the ship all the way down. But, there are also quite a few people who fall in the middle. Those are the people who like banners.
This. My guess is there are lots of people who are all WTF but don't want to be the black sheep in there KSTATEO family who disparages Snyder. The banner will let those people know that it's ok to have those thoughts and express them.

I would welcome such an event, because, as you put it, I'm a cancer lover, since I'm not of the belief that pink sweat bands worn by the Green Bay Packers actually DO anything for breast cancer.
Obviously, Pink "save the ta-tas" T-Shirts and pink baseball bats used in MLB are single handedly bringing down the cancer rate 22% by the day.
