Some things.

1.  Different colors of wood (i.e. within the 3-point line and outside of it) look rough ridin' terrible, and Texas A&M's court is a rough ridin' abortion.
2.  Purple on black looks dope.
3.  Needs to be a midcourt circle, even if it is faint.  Basketball courts need a midcourt circle thingy, just like every kid needs a father.  And include the jumpers' circle!  Otherwise it's just a boob without a nipple.
4.  Smaller powercat superimposed over that K?   :dunno:

Well I don't know what that means, but I should prob. clarify why the two different tones of wood are stupid: because rough ridin' everybody does it.  Basketball courts go through bad trends every eight years or so, and this (along with gigantic midcourt logos) is what's hot right now.  Adopting these stupid trendy courts is how we ended up with purple trimmed in pastels in the mid-90s, and why we have a ridiculously retardedly huge midcourt powercat right now.

Plus, it looks rough ridin' stupid.

The Powercat needs to be containable in the camera frame during transition.  It's just too important to our brand to be subtle or too rough ridin' big so that it can't fit in frame.

I know that guy that has the rights to octagon of doom.  I'm pretty positive he would let the university use it for whatever they wanted for free.
