I remember precisely that he said $44 mil on 810WHB when I was in Kansas City. He must have misunderestimated his own department. Amateur.Well, the financial report he sent in the late summer said it was over $47 million, $44 million was last years budget. Where are you at now? I'm curious if the huge increases in AD budgets are all inflation or if we are actually improving financially.

Iowa State will have one very similar by next season!!You guys getting a track too?I dont know what is worse... KU having an outdoor track in their football stadium OR Iowa State not having an outdoor track period. I'd go with KU. Ames High and Drake works just fine; AD money doesn't need to be used on a facility used only for Iowa State track. how broke are you guys? i think you could build a track for roughly $300 and a trash bag filled with aluminum cans (from Michigan). We have a 47 million dollar budget, and last I heard (from John Currie interview on 810WHB) that K-State's is only 44 million.
