For the people saying the encroachment call was legitimate, you're obviously right but when they don't make that call 99% of the time you can understand why people feel like somethings up.  If you watch it in real time there was almost no gap from the kick to when she took a step inside the box.

there is nothing to bet.  Do you read my posts at all?!  You are attempting to argue with me about things which I'm not really contesting.  The refs never told anyone who they are calling what on and why Hope got a yellow.  Its was a shitty job reffing, can we agree to that?

No I don't agree that the ref did a shitty job with that call.  I like everyone else watching was pissed after I saw it.  Since then we saw the actual violation, we also heard Solo say the official told her there was an encroachment.  I'm pretty sure Solo knew what she said to get a card.  What did you want the official to do?  Not call what she saw?  Draw everyone watching all over the world a diagram that explains the call & the rule?  You like the rest of us got hoodwinked because the commentators and Solo thought she was called for coming off of her line.  The difference is all of us are using the benefit of technology & retrospect to see the official was right, on that call, & everyone else was wrong.

How was it a shitty job of officiating if she was 100% correct?

and that is why its rough ridin' ridiculous for us to argue about FIFA.  I mean if I donated $100 dollars to the pocket of a FIFA official I could have had Solo carded for wearing too many clothes. 

I agree that the player on the outside of the box moving in, by the letter of the law is a violation.  But its never called.  Its like not moving into the lane in NBA ball during a free throw.  Just like all the foul throw-ins are not called is akin to traveling in the NBA.  Somethings are just let go.  Sometimes you just need to swallow the whistle.
