Lamur is the best athlete of the the three. He's the only one that doesn't look like a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) when he throws it and Klein looks like Gregory 2.0 when he's in there.

Gregory didn't know the playbook last year, he had to look at the sideline every time. What's the big deal with doing that with Lamur? He's the best athlete, and if we're only planning on throwing the ball 10-15 times a game, then it's worth a shot. He'll extend the DT's  and LB's with his threat of running, which would hopefully leave more room for Thomas to work with up the middle.

This is my first attempt at a HFBIQ post, please be gentle.

Lamar should be our starter against ku. Why the hell not. We run the same 5 or 6 plays with Carson in, I'm sure Lamar can run them as well.

The gay guy from revenge of the nerds?  uk would be sooooo jealous

Why didn't we get Bishop to suit up in SLamur's jersey?  I mean both are black, it would have worked!

Damnit, that WOULD have worked

“Tuggle’s top attribute is his athleticism. He is cat quick in the pocket and is very dangerous when things break down because he can make a play with his arm and legs. Tuggle can throw on the run and is so elusive in the open field. He shows a very strong arm and the ability to throw the deep out with a lot of velocity. Seems to see the field real well"

"Collin's a big guy, and he can run a little bit better than Carson," Harper said. "That's really the difference the them. Other than that, Carson has the leadership. He's a captain and things like that."

Other players have no idea what to say when trying to come up with positives for Offman.

The saddest part of all is . . . when you begin to analyze it Snyder hasn't recruited that many quarterbacks to K-State:

May, Miller and Webb were all transfers from other D1 schools.   So that leaves Smargeso, Kavenaugh, Beasley, Bishop, Roberson, Dunn, Meier, Swift . . . of which; 2 sucked, 3 was serviceable but I'd take them now, 3 were very good.    That's really not a very good record for a coach that's been at a D1 school for 17 years, not good at all.

I remember being very excited when we got Marc Dunn.  Then he turned out to be a crappy Mormon football player.

I bet Lamur's confidence was super high from running the zone read for our scout team all week.

For fucks sake, he probably averaged 20 a carry for 2 weeks of practice, and OBz still wasn't swayed.

You forgot that OB also recruited Evridge and Lopina - both of whom I would take over what we have now

Either Lamur sucks at the zone read, or Snyder wasn't paying attention when Cosh's Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) defensive was practicing against it.

Listened to Stanbot on 810 and the bot is full of crap.

His new crockamamy theory is that OB is going to go a rotational QB scheme with different packages for each.

Of course this was all laid out in amazingly over-analytical detail.

Seriously, only a insufferable doofus like d__scott fritchen would buy this crap.

OB is what he is.  And the dog ain't going to be taught new tricks.

The only way Klein or Slamur sniff the field is when we're down 14 points next week in Lawrence and we've already pissed the game away.  We need to face the reality - we are going down with the Carsy ship.

If Queso Cheese has actually really checked at the line this (and not just faking it) . . . has there been anything that he's checked into that was really that fantastic??

Carson correctly checked into an option to the short side when he recognized that they were coming on a corner blitz....then proceded to f'ing pitch the ball (a) late and (b) a tad behind Thomas, allowing the safety enough time to come over and make the tackle...I think it was on a 3rd down and 3 when the game was around 14-3 or something like that.

the short of it is that I don't want to lose with Carson.  I'd rather lose with Klein or Slamur.  I just can't stand the look on Carson's face.  His face just makes me want to punch him in the face.

Quality post, this.
No this isn't a quality post.  This was by far the worst play call you could have made for the exact thing that happened.

The correct call would be to put the ball in the hands of one of your top 5 best players and make him work.  Chris Harper would have been able to fall forward and get a first down off a quick out or quick in post.  The safety was NO WHERE near the line and the outside line backer was still pushing to the end for containment.  The corner was already 3 yards off harper looking in, IGNORING Chris.

The check was the worst play call possible short of pitching it directly into NU's hands intentionally.

This is why we are failing.  Our best players are not getting the ball.  Harper and Smith were IGNORED like Rand Moss, except we were getting the ass beating instead of delivering it.
