QB's are taught basically three basic throws: trajectory 1 - on a rope; trajectory 2 - small arc with good speed; trajectory 3 - high arc soft touch. Slamur seems to be the only one who actually has the mechanics to make all three throws. Problem is I don't think he has the arm strength to throw across the field, out routes from the opposite hash w/ a trajectory 1 or 2. He is obviously the more gifted runner of the three. Kline is sunshine from Remember the Titans, can run ok, can't make a pitch, and has great arm strength but may not have enough touch. Coffman has horrible mechanics and just needs to be out of the mix. He plays scared and looks like a statue when blitzed. None of them are terribly accurate throwers.
I think Slamur is the guy. I think he could improve the QB run game, have some type of vertical passing game and make the throws needed to run screens. Snyder needs to get back to his offense and stop this super run heavy stuff.
I want to see vertical passing, screen passing game, TE passing (threat has to be there when LB's are craming the box), QB running game (zone read and draws from shotgun), option (shotgun and I-form.), Daniel Thomas running from shotgun and I-form.
