To be fair, there were reports last week specifically saying we have not offered even though we were a favorite.  I've not read a report saying we had offered yet.

good point about the meyers' update specifically mentioning a lack of offer.  here is the other offer report.

its only right that the best (bossi) goes to work for the best (rivals).

kinda disappointing that no KSU elite camp mentions were given.  who's it going to be this year - nino, angel, corey hilliard and a bunch of lower-tier local kids?

So charge him $5 and act like everyone else is paying it too and then bring him over.  Every once and awhile I can bitch about the premium fee, but how I pay it anyway for quality sys/baylor hate just to throw him off of the scent.

Nino will be a four star before the summer is over.

I havent seen this before, but it sounds like we are recruiting Thomas Gipson, per Autin Meek. 6-7" Forward. Here is a copy of the article.

 Thomas Gipson

Maybe it's the beard, maybe it's the game, but it's hard to watch Thomas Gipson without picturing Damion James.

He gets that a lot.

Gipson, a 2011 power forward, is playing with Team Texas at this weekend's Kansas City Classic. Team Texas coach Ray Forsett mentioned Gipson was looking at K-State, so we got the run-down on the 6-foot-7 forward.

Gipson listed his favorites as K-State, Marquette, West Virginia and Oklahoma. He'll probably wait until fall to pick a school, but he likes Frank Martin and K-State's style of play.

Gipson describes his game like this: "Very physical in the paint, hard-nosed, dominant." Sounds about right. Gipson might be an inch or two shorter than teammate Zach Peters, a KU commit, but he's every bit as thick.

Rivals and Scout rank Gipson as a three-star prospect, and he was No. 128 in Rivals' latest 150. We'll leave the evaluations to the professionals, but Gipson definitely looks like a high-major player. Keep an eye on this guy

Looks strong.  Decent ups.  Looks like a southpaw.

Probably a decent replacement for Kelly down the road.  After two or three years with SG, he'd look like an advertisement for Muscle Milk.

For being 11 plus minutes of highlights, you sure don't get a lot of variety.  Obviously finishes strong at the rim, has some touch and lots of power.  Would have liked to see if he has any post moves, or can face up, or shoot.

I was going to say the same thing. more of a low post type player. kelly has the ability to stretch defenders while this guy will be a guy you can give to on the low block and he gets it within 3 feet its an automatic two.

And the other 3 were OU, Marquette, and WVU.  What, have OSU and Baylor not offered or something?  Gee whiz.

I think I saw him make 2 jumpers from the free throw line vicinity, so he's obviously has the skillz, looks like he would "fit" (basically he is an amazingly handsome dude), was a little worried when i saw a picture of him with a longhorn logo on the shirt, but turns out his high school uses tejas logo for their logo, so we'll let it slide.

Has offers from okie state and smu, sooooo he's pretty much just waiting for a chance to be a emaw
