Well if I ever find anything worth a damn that hasn't already been posted here, I'll go ahead and post it, Powertards will probably will still get 1st dibs, but I'll save the really cool super insidery stuff(ie, stuff that would probably only get about 2 views on GPC but MIGHT generate some discussion,  because let's be clear, I have no inside sources) for over here.

Harrison is the epitome of a shot maker. A pure shooter, Harrison has deep range and can also score off the dribble inside the arc. Top all that off with a penchant for getting to the free-throw line. The rest of his game is solid, but his scoring ability is exceptional.

Harrison has offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, SMU and UTEP, but Texas A&M, Kansas State and Houston are his top three schools.

isn't that enough to NOT offer him, he obviously doesn't fit what the staff is looking for, good luck lighting it up at Okie Light, we only want players that fit our system. See you in the

great range for a high school player. this kid likes us and seems to fit our style and looks like a player this coaching staff would covet. kinda surprised we haven't offered

Yeah, he really didn't look all that impressive on his 3 highlights.  But the finding the highlights was impressive.

Another Harrison update from Rivals, this time from Virginia site. No clue if it's free or not. I do find it odd that there's no mention of the Cats despite him naming us as 1 of his leaders just this past weekend. He also named Houston in his Top 3 but they aren't mentioned in this update either.

All I know for sure is this kid can get buckets in droves against high-level competition. Is that EMAW enough for Frank and Co? We'll be finding out...

Ryan Boatright
Year: Junior
Position: PG
Hometown: Aurora, IL
College: Undecided; Boatright de-committed from USC after the Tim Floyd fiasco. He had committed to USC in eighth grade.
Team-given lookalike: Tiger Woods
Team-given lookalike rating: 3 of 10. Boatright is nice kid with some nice dreams; Tiger Woods is an orange pornstar-slaying herb that just happens to be a golf prodigy. Boatright is a real person; Tiger is manufactured by Nike.
Bio: Charismatic on and off the court, Boatright finished second in the tournament in scoring at 19.6 ppg. Boat did much of his damage on fearless forays to the rim and bailout threes. He has a nice knack for the “oh snap, my team needs me to score right now or we’ll be in trouble” bucket. With the right coaching, the sky is the limit for Boat at a big-time program.
Quirk: Due to issues breathing out of his nose, Boat’s the only kid we’ve met who can go for 25 and 5 while consistently looking like he’s about to faint.

"Sharp shooting guard D'Angelo Harrison continues to fill it up this spring. The day after the Wallace Prather Memorial Event, Alabama called and Houston offered a scholarship. Harrison already has offers from UTEP, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, SMU and Arkansas."

So are we officially funneling kids to Anthony Grant? 1st, Trevor Releford, now Harrison.

Following up on Luke Winn's recommedation that we recruit P.R. native Carmelo Betancourt, I did some digging and came up with a couple nuggets regarding him and fellow PR native Rasham Suarez. No, they're not as cool as sys' stat finds but it does give some insight on what types of players they are. Montrose and St Benedict's are both national-level, highly visible programs, will be interesting to see if either ends up at 1 of those programs and how it will affect their recruitment.
We are listed on Suarez's Rivals profile and he mentioned us as recruiting him in a Scout update, but it doesn't appear we are heavily pursuing at this time, but you know our staff ...
