I assume most of the players hate K-State and just sign for Frank, but along the way they start to enjoy Manhattan.

Translation: Did NOT enjoy Manhattan.  Prob. worried about catching an eye hernia from Jamar.  Can't say I blame him.

So he hates us but loves Frank? :frown:

i dont read it as he hates us. but it seems like they feel frank might leave after this year and if he does then angel would want to go where frank goes. i dont think frank is going anywhere so not really stressed over it

I think it actually just goes to the staff not wanting to officially oversign.  I mean, everyone knows what's up, but at least the math works if you ignore tons of stuff.

Quote
"This is a perfect example of a kid committing to a coach first over the school," Alvarez said. "Angel wants to play for Frank Martin, so he has committed to him. But he has not signed with K-State.
"Frank is a young, hot commodity. We just want to make sure that everything is going to stay the same in April. There's nothing to read into that. He talked to Frank about it, and he is more than comfortable about that."

This likely means after Haith finishes last in the ACC again this year (or somewhere close) that Angel will be playing for Frank at the U.  I hate saying this and I'm usually pretty positive but I just can't imagine this doesn't eventually happen, and likely sooner rather than later.

Don't worry after this season, we're not going to have to worry about Frank leaving . . . nobody is going to want him.

My thoughts exactly.  If this season plays out like the media is projecting it to, Frank's stock will never be higher.  IF he's going to leave, I would think it would be after this season or not at all.

The K-State movie is always a cautionary tail when someone reaches deity status in 3 years . . . stay tuned.

Breakdown magazine ranks Rodriguez and Diaz 5th and 6th respectively in the St of FLA for the Class of '11. Daniels at #2 is actually a transplant from SoCal but the site probably wants to take credit for as much talent in the state as possible, can't blame them for that.

For '12, Smith is ranked #3, Stephon Blair #12, and Baker #13. Rodriguez's teammate at Krop, 6'8" Tyrone Haughton, is ranked 10th, although I've never seen KSU mentioned in connection with him.

For '13, Malik Price-Martin is #3
