"saw him play in one of the tourneys during the summer. cant remember who the other high profile players were involved in the game. but the guys calling the game said he was the best player on the floor. what i saw of him was speed and more speed got to the rim anytime he wanted. and was all over the floor on defense. thought at the time he would make somebody a nice player. Looks like it may be us"

An hour ago, TOS reported that he has scheduled a visit to MHK.  Can't imagine a talent like that would hurt the team... Not sure what it means in terms of available schollies and recruiting needs though.  We seem to continue being on the short list for transfers... Is that a pipeline?

Yeah, who needs another athletic 6-8/9 4/5 with post moves who can rebound and defend the basket?  Especially ones who go for 20/15 against ND and 18/13 on Xavier.  It would really suck to put another guy like that on our roster in case Wally goes pro.  Plus, everybody knows Diaz and Gipson are going to show up on campus ready to dominate.  He'd probably never even see the court.  Worse yet, every guy we sign ends up clogging up our roster until he uses up his eligibility.  Why take a chance?
