Look, just quit. If you really think Cassel is better than Orton, then you are a dumbstick.
Cassel: Int %: 1.7 - Cmp %: 58.7 - Yds: 1196
Orton: Int %: 1.6 - Cmp %: 6137 - Yds: 2509
Orton throws less picks per attempt (barely) when the defense knows he's throwing the ball 75% of the time, and their usually losing.
Cassel throws more picks per attempt, when they actually have a running game for the other team to focus on.
Orton has played better opponents
Cassel has played worse opponents
Orton completes a higher percentage of his passes
Cassel can't hit the broad side of a barn
Orton also doesn't get very much pass protection because the defense knows Denver is going to pass, so they can send the pass rush almost every play.
Cassel has a good running game that gives him more time to throw since the defense is keying on J. Charles and T. Jones.
In what crazy rough ridin' world do you live in that Matt Cassel is better than Kyle Orton (or any starting QB for that matter)
i'm not saying that cassel is amazing, but it's dumb to say that he completely sucks or is the worst qb in the league. his numbers aren't awe inspiring but he is doing just about everything he is being asked to do. yes, we are a run first team, but that is the perfect situation for a (very) weak armed, but smart qb to flourish. we don't need him to go out and throw for 300 yds a game. i'm not trying to argue that mc > ko, but does it really matter that ko can throw all over the field when at the end of the day the broncos are still getting laughed out of oakland?
