i figured that no one would care since it was nfl related. the mariotti meltdown is pretty epic, imo. whitlock's finest hour.

I'm hoping this will happen. We need a WR badly.

Well, that didn't last long.

Did you take that off the front page of ESPN, or just a coincidence?  I'm really hoping it was just a coincidence, cause that would be cool.

I had Randy Moss on my fantasy team the last time he played with Matt Cassel.  Apparently not even randy moss can catch the crap that cassel tosses.

Any QB would have a better completion percentage if all they did was throw 5 yard slants and screen passes.  Don't be a dumbass.  We all know Cassel sucks.

i dont think he's great, but he's definitely contributed in getting us to 5-2. orton has thrown for over a thousand more yds so far, and the broncos are just super.

Well, the Broncos schedule is also a ton easier than KC's.  Kansas City hasn't beaten a team that is over .500 and the only team you beat that is at .500 was playing with their 3rd string QB.

cassel might not be lighting up the field but he has done much better at playing to his strengths this season. i would take a boring qb and a 5-2 record than a "gunslinger" with a 2-6 record which includes an absolutely embarrasing loss to oakland. look at tony romo, he has an arm but that hasn't equated to wins in dallas. cassel isn't taking as many sacks, isn't throwning desperation picks this year, and has made some key throws when he's needed to. compared to how he played last year, i'm happy w/ that.

Look, just quit.  If you really think Cassel is better than Orton, then you are a dumbstick.

Cassel:  Int %:  1.7 - Cmp %:  58.7 - Yds:  1196
Orton:  Int %:  1.6 - Cmp %:  6137 - Yds:  2509

Orton throws less picks per attempt (barely) when the defense knows he's throwing the ball 75% of the time, and their usually losing.

Cassel throws more picks per attempt, when they actually have a running game for the other team to focus on.

Orton has played better opponents

Cassel has played worse opponents

Orton completes a higher percentage of his passes

Cassel can't hit the broad side of a barn

Orton also doesn't get very much pass protection because the defense knows Denver is going to pass, so they can send the pass rush almost every play.

Cassel has a good running game that gives him more time to throw since the defense is keying on J. Charles and T. Jones.

In what crazy rough ridin' world do you live in that Matt Cassel is better than Kyle Orton (or any starting QB for that matter)
