Great 4-boner wings, sweet potato fries, BBQ.......I'm beginning to think that Karnivore is Pat's younger, yet much more attractive brother.

if this karnivore thing of yours is some kind of complex long drawn out multiple thread prank designed into tricking people to go there a la kites burgers i'm not going to be amused if i end up checking it out.  :nono:

you know what would be really cool? if someone took a map of all the aggieville properties and put the names of the businesses that have been housed there since like 2000 or something. would be pretty telling? also they could put goEMAW.com on this map and people would be all like omg this map is amazing and so is this blog.

Oh, a gif of how the buildings have changed ownership over the years. That'd be slick.

would need someone who could get access to a map of the properties in aggieville from each year, then the titles for those companies, then also someone whos like good at making maps. city of manhattan should make all of those properties and titles public info...

what im trying to say here is theres no way im doing this. but it would be somewhat easy for someone who knew what they were doing to do it.

We could probably just make the map and then all of the collective knowledge of this board could easily fill in all the different things they have been over ours years of being in MHK

http://gis.rileycountyks.gov/website/rileyco/viewer.htm

this will help you figure out who the owner of each building is, but since a lot of properties are leased, it wont help you figure out the name of the place that's been there. also it wont help you go back to 2000. but hey... its a start. youd have to email or call the owners and ask for their records, which I think would be better than asking the city of manhattan, since they don't keep track of the leases.

good luck, rick. let me know when this thing comes together!

I doubt it. properties get bought out and change so much it would be difficult. not impossible, but I think it would be tough. the hardest part would be figuring out when kites or rustys or whatever bought a second property and what used to be there.

I really liked their bbq.  People says it was gross, but I liked it.

Their damn music was turned up too loud at night though.  Couldn't hear myself think in there.

the kansas city club with rub fries was my favorite aggieville dish.

I heard that the guy that owns the McDonalds in town bought the property. I don't think he's planning on putting a McDonalds there though.

Also, it turns out that Fast Eddy's property line goes all the way to the western wall of Dirty Dawgs so Dirty Dawgs will likely be losing their patio.
