Tanner's is doing a soft open again tomorrow, planning on being open to the public on Saturday. Sorry, seven. :frown:

Their shuffleboard table sucked. I had a couple of friends that worked there (and hated it) so that was the only reason I went there. Their trivia on Thursday nights was kind of a joke.

Yeah. They completely ripped off Auntie Mae's trivia format.

I really liked their bbq.  People says it was gross, but I liked it.

Their damn music was turned up too loud at night though.  Couldn't hear myself think in there.

i don't think i ever saw anyone actually eat there (i've only been inside after like 8pm on a tuesday tho), but assumed they just had a giant BBQ candle back in the kitchen to cover up the pAFH smell

They had the best wings in town (4 boners), and they were half price on Monday. Bubbles and I used to get them weekly.

well, im not saying it was my favorite bar ever. it was the only shuffleboard table in aggieville that I'd seen (might be another somewhere in fast eddys or something) and they had $2 you call its on Wednesday night. throwing darts and playing shuffleboard on a Wednesday was about all I ever did there. I agree with dlew, the music was way too loud at night. BBQ wasn't bad though.

would rather see pats still there than tanners. :stepsdownoffDScottsoapbox:

Used to go on Tuesdays for dirt cheap beer and then usually got some of their sweet potato fries, very good.

Will Tanner's have a rooftop bar?  everybody loves a good roof top bar.

seriously, RTB would be pretty cool at that corner.

Great 4-boner wings, sweet potato fries, BBQ.......I'm beginning to think that Karnivore is Pat's younger, yet much more attractive brother.

you know what would be really cool? if someone took a map of all the aggieville properties and put the names of the businesses that have been housed there since like 2000 or something. would be pretty telling? also they could put goEMAW.com on this map and people would be all like omg this map is amazing and so is this blog.
