Speaking of school cafeterias, did anyone else have basketball practice in the cafeteria (was the really old gym at my schoool)?

My favorite day in the middle school cafeteria was when they had chili and served it with a big cinnamon roll.  I'd rip up the cinnamon roll and put it in the chili like it was croutons.   

Did we go to HS together?    If your hs had Grade A/Elite Ham & Chz squares the answer has a chance of being, aboslutely.

here's an idea. don't eat lunch at the school. it's going to suck whether you get the hot or bring your own. go off school grounds. my god here guys.

Lunch ladies will always have a soft spot in my heart. They knew us 8th graders were gonna have a food fight on the last day of school and they served up stuff like chili, jello, grape juice, and every possible thing that would stain your clothes. then the loser teacher who got hit by a plate of spaghetti cried in my "homeroom" class later that day

at my elementary school on fridays, you could get a fantastic cheese cob for a quid.   
the beefburgers were also quite excellent but i stopped eating them after one of my mates found a piece of plastic in one of the patties.

my middle school lunch is ok, today we're having a black bean casserole.  i can't wait to get to senior high school next year because they have open lunch.  if my mom gets me a car i'm going to go to pizza hut every single day. 

today i'm going to just get two little debbie nutty bars, chocolate milk, and maybe some chocolate ice cream?  who knows, but the nutty bars are for sure.

they were an extra 75 cents at ETP's school. always got doubles on pizza and pepperoni breakstick days.

When I was in middle school, "food allergies" were a myth.  We were told to "eat that God damned peanut butter sandwich or you'll get nothing tomorrow."

Also, chili and cinnamon roll day was rough ridin' amazing.

Middle School. Choco Tacos and Ice Cream Snickers.
High School. Open lunch and knowing where every deal in town is Double

Anyone ever have a food fight? My tiny junior high had two. The second was so outrageous that after the supervisor got hit by her third serving of mixed veggies (corn, carrots, lima beans, beans) she ran and got the principal! FOOOD FIIIGHT!!!

A lot of you guys know my friend, Dooley.  Well, his mom gives him an allowance for lunch every week, but he always blows it on stupid stuff so he doesn't have money left for lunch most weeks.

He's figured that if he sits with the anorexic girls he gets free lunch.  It's awesome.  If he can't find an anorexic one, he just sits next to a fat one and comments about how she "really shouldn't eat that," and she will give it to him "rater than letting go to waste because there are starving kids in Africa."

Super smart move, IMO.
