they are charging 80 for the CU game?
How is this different than KState's nine dollar tickets last year?
in the end, EMAW will always win.

We are trying to show support of military families, some of which cannot afford tickets because they have 3 children and have to live day to day off their spouses paycheck, who is off serving in Afghanistan and whatnot. It's for them. Some Hawk fans just don't know get it...
We sell stuff we want to buy. A great price is only half the battle - it's also got to be a great product or service. Between our top-rated business partners and unbeatable prices, you should feel comfortable venturing out and trying something new - just because it's featured on Groupon. We want Groupon to be an addiction you can feel good about.
You know what they should have done---and I'm completely serious---is a groupon for the KSU-ISU game. Because a turnout like that for a Big 12 conference game is pathetic.

What was the biggest complaint I heard? People not wanting to spend $60 for a ticket that wasn't part of the season ticket plan and was off-campus against a crappy team. Do you not agree? I know I would hesitate to drop that kind of money, especially in this economy. What other reason is there for the small turnout? A groupon or SOME sort of deal would have helped out attendance.

K-State took the guaranteed money from the deal and ran, and will not be back.
