Yeah, and with all that talent he has brought in, he's still going to get fired.  Dude won't be bringing that type of talent to MHK, I can assure you of that.  What will he do with recruiting classes in the 30s or 40s?  Not be able to win enough games to keep from getting fired?

From 2002-2009 the guy has averaged 10 wins a season in the toughest conference out there.

Would he win us a NC?  Probably not.

Would he be a good coach?  It's hard to argue he wouldn't be.

Once again, he won't be bringing in top 10 classes to MHK.  He had, arguably, as much talent as any team in the country on any given year, so he should be winning 10 games a year. 

He also wouldn't be playing against as high of a caliber of competition.

The SEC east is UF, UK, UTenn, USC, Vandy, and Georgia.   Florida is the only tough team they play every year.  You're kidding yourself if you think that the SEC is light years above the Big 12.

They play Auburn every year, as well as GT.

eff, forgot they play Auburn every year.  And GTech isn't anything special, at least not during the time Richt has been at Georgia.  Also, he would be playing UT, OU, Mizzou, TTU, A&M, and OSU every year in the Big 12.  That's not an easy schedule.

I really don't give a rip about Mark Richt either way, but I just want to point out jt's idiocy in this thread.  Anyone who questions Mack's coaching ability or says that he only wins because he is at UT and can get all the recruits.....

Mack Brown is absolutely known in Austin to be a team manager/elite recruiter and leave most of the X's and O's to his coordinators. Greg Davis sucks out loud, so it makes Mack Brown look like a shitty coach. He isn't, because in order to be a shitty coach you have to actually, you know, coach.
