Night watch?
« on: July 29, 2010, 11:42:15 PM »
Which mods have been designated as fat and incapable and thus appointed to watching the boards at night? Because if the answer is nobody I will wreak untold havoc on this place, racking up hundreds (if not millions) of posts and ruining every thread.

Also plz hire me at $70k/yearly to take over this position, I know you need to get rid of large amounts of taxable income.

call rusty4ksu that and the gloves will be off. Just saying we have no real idea where the 'line in the sand' is with this group of mods. Could be their mothers or could be their fanhood. Or their seeds. Tough telling.

Also, we do some work around here from time to time.  Here's a copy of an e-mail exchange I had with some d00d a few weeks ago.  This was after we exchanged a few e-mails about him not being able to activate his account and I tried to walk him through what to do to get himself activated.  Was completely pleasant up to this point:

Dear dumbshit,

You seem to think I care one way or the other if you register.  I don't.  We aren't a business. Here is how the internet works:  You signed up as berford.  You cannot re-sign up as berford again because you already have that login.  This is not that complicated.  I manually activated your account so whatever you did to eff up your registration has been fixed.  If you want to post just login as berford using whatever password you set. I am going to poster intimidate the eff out of you if you do decide to post.

Here's some assistance we gave to SteveDaveDuh a few weeks ago.  All of the goEMAW department leaders, or "mods", pitched in to help this customer.

guys...sorry you guys got sucked in to my fishing trip on GPC...Had no idea you guys would get so worked up over a little rfishing on GPC

SteveDaveDuh,

Trim handles all the QA and customer service stuff around here, I just deal with the servers and stuff.  Can you PM both of us what it is that you were mentioning?  Honestly, I am at a loss... :dunno:

SteveDaveDuh,

Trim here.  I assure you we at goEMAW take all of our customer's concerns very seriously.  Please direct me to the episode at issue and I will promptly see that it is addressed by myself or the appropriate moderator.  GO CATS!

Thanks,

Trim

SDD,

I'm sure this is overly precautionary, but I'm bringing in Limestone to this discussion.  He's in charge of the goEMAW legal department.  He's obviously going to have to be involved if anybody has been less than fair with you.  Again, knowing the other goEMAW leaders as I do, I'd be surprised if this can't be resolved quickly and effectively.  But as always, better safe than sorry.

Look forward to hearing from you.
