So i understand that everyone is extremely excited that the chiefs have now won more games than they did in the entire 2012 season. i get it. i really do. but what i don't get is this unbridled optimism. the chiefs have played the jaguars (awful), the cowboys (won't make the playoffs, again) and the eagles (a team with a new head coach and won't make the playoffs). maybe a speed check is in order before everyone starts talking about even vying for a wildcard spot?

Maybe because people realize our schedule.  We play    teams all year.

Pud teams almost all year long just like we the ones we are 3-0 against besides DEN, NYG, HOU.  I'm blowing past the speed check and enjoying 3-0.

marginally above average teams are in the playoffs every year.  Hell, the Seahawks went at 7-9 one year. 

I'm not ready to throw a parade or buy superbowl tickets.  But at 3-0, I don't think 6 or 7 more wins would be an unreasonable outcome.

Asava, the Chiefs can make a wildcard at 10-6 and you could pick apart each win of theirs like that.  How good the teams you beat doesn't matter one bit.  The Chiefs have a lot of games against teams that are probably worse than Dallas/Philly (Oak x2, Ten, Cle, Buff, Wash).  If they continue to beat teams similar to the ones that got them to 3-0, they will be in the playoffs.

Bold statement, but the Chiefs maybe the second best team in the AFC at this point.  Doubt that will be the case at the end of the season, but its been an unimpressive conference outside of Denver

So I shout "None of those people had 127 sacks, so of course no one cares."

Rest of the class was split between thinking I was a hero and a jerk. I still say hero.

He was no saint. But he was KC. My uncle was really involved with the 3rd and Long foundation and I got to meet DT several times at fundraisers as a kid. No one had a softer heart for that guy, he was the most generous dude.
