Does snowbrag include Week 18 games in its data?

yes. haven't figured out the best way to handle that. normally not that big of a deal but 38-0 is definitely having an impact.

What does it predict for the Super Bowl if you take out just the Chiefs-Broncos game?

I like 38-0 because it made our slightly ridiculous point differential look extremely ridiculous

yes, lol. i wonder how other models (sagarin, massey, etc) handle week 18 games that are meaningful for some teams and meaningless for other teams

What is the most incredible/ridiculous way we could win the super bowl? Like something that would have everyone not a chefs fan screaming "THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT" and chefs fan screaming "LOL, WTF?!? 3-PEAT"

I'm going to say some sort of triple/quadruple DOINK on the game winning fg. Chefs down 2 with 4 seconds left and we kick a 52 yarder....the ball DOINKS the right upright, skip's twice on the crossbar then DOINKs the left crossbar and goes in. Or maybe after the first DOINK the ball just spins on the crossbar like a top for about 2 seconds before finally slowly falling over.

Another good option would be a last second hail mary/hook and ladder play.

Eagles score a touchdown to go up 1 with 1 second remaining. Chiefs block the PAT and return it for 2 points.

I've seen the chiefs do this with my own eyeballs (Eric Berry vs atlanta) and it was probably the most incredible thing that ever happened to the chiefs pre mahomes

That's a great one!

I thought of another as well. Think 2009 BIG 12 championship game between Texas and Corn Aggie.

The eagles are down by 3 or less with 8 seconds left around the chefs 30 yard line with 1 time out...They call another play to get a closer FG but spags sends the house and Hurts scrambles and slides then jumps up to call TO but doesn't get down before the clock runs out. This would obviously be reviewed and the tension would be pulsing through the crowd when the ref gets on the mic and says "The call on the field stands, the game is over".

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

i think it's going to be low scoring. regardless of who has the ball, the defense will be the better unit on the field.

I think Spags would commit Sepeku if his defense let Barkley do him like he did the Commanders.

*100 yd running back, but yeah. lamar went crazy in week 1.

defense has allowed 4.2 ypa, which is pretty good (9th in nfl).

HOWEVER, after not allowing more than 120 rush yards as a team for 12 straight games (week 2 - week 14), the chiefs have allowed at least 130 rush yards 5 out of the last 6 games. a little troubling.

Meh. They gave up yards to Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I'm not reading much into that. We limited the Bills and contained Allen enough to give me confidence against Philly

the eagles defense is so good.

pass yards per play allowed

1. philadelphia 5.1
.
.
.
2. houston 5.7
3. denver 5.8
4. ny jets 5.8
5. la chargers 5.8
.
.
12. kansas city 6.1

impressively, they do this without even pressuring the qb.

qb pressure rate:

1. dallas 30.1%
2. denver 27.7%
3. cleveland 26.5%
4. detroit 26.2%
5. kansas city 26.1%
.
.
.
.
28. philadelphia 17.9%
29. new england 17.6%
30. jacksonville 16.9%
31. tennessee 16.7%
32. carolina 16.2%

they also rank dead last in "hurry" rate (hurry is when QB throws the ball earlier than expected or is chased out of the pocket):

1. dallas 12.4%
2. detroit 10.7%
3. la rams 9.7%
4. new orleans 9.3%
5. ny jets 9.2%
6. kansas city 9.0%
.
.
.
.
32. philadelphia 4.7%

they also blitz at the 6th lowest rate in the NFL.

so they have by far the best pass defense in the NFL despite getting relatively no pressure on the QB. look at the garbage defenses ranked around them in pressure rate. my takeaway is they have sticky defenders and don't mind sitting back in coverage. but they are still above average at stopping the run (4.3 ypa - 11th in NFL). just a lot of studs at all levels of the defense.
