Not very often you see 'clams get taken to the wood shed
these clowns will find out.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

The only positive commentary about this signing should be that we’re saving some money versus holding onto mvs

Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, Rashee Rice.  Name a better WR trio, you can't.

I’d say ot but that seems to be an unpopular pick when you’re picking late in the first round

1k yards at 3rd target is pretty difficult, i read that having 3 1k receiving yards on a team has only happened 5 times

If there's ever been a QB/Coach combo that could spread it around enough to pull that off, I think we have it.  However, we might spread it around too much for that to occur.

I hope Kelce/Rice/Brown are so effective that Mahomes just loads those three up.

Whoever Pat wants but also keeps Spags happy.  I don't think the organization will let Reid and Spags walk at the same time.

I would imagine they load manage Kelce more this year and he doesn't get as many regular season targets.

Right now Vrabel is my first choice. I'm curious why you're so sure he's done after 25?

Odds on Hollywood having his best season next year?

i would expect him to have somewhere around his career average 17-game totals (76 rec, 860 yards, 7 TD).

career average 17-game totals for comparison:
Hardman - 42 rec, 553 yards, 4 TD
MVS - 34 rec, 583 yards, 3 TD

I think he is a little stronger than his average.  I'm going just under 1k and 9 TDs.

I don't trust the KC WR coach to develop young talent so I think Pat goes to the vet a lot

It's pretty amazing that the chiefs have basically set up two 3-year teams with Mahomes (I think they were caught a bit off guard in 2018 and didn't plan on having a championship team that early). The first won one of three, the second has potential to go 3/3. '25 will likely be another "reset", lots of contracts coming due. But hell they won a super bowl in their last reset season so eff yeah.

all those numbers i listed are based on Hollywood's career 17-game average targets (124)

the 2023 chiefs target breakdown:

121 Kelce
102 Rice
53 Watson
49 Pacheco
42 MVS
41 Gray
38 Kadarious
38 2 Y's
32 McKinnon
22 CEH
21 Mecole (24 total including w/ NYJ)

Because a certain wife of a certain coach likes to chat people from Kansas City up on the beach when the coach and wife take their annual post season trip to So Cal.

I don't know much about the WR coach but Rashee Rice showed a lot of development this year I thought.
