I'd guess DL in the 1st WR in the 2nd is high probability. It's interesting seeing some mocks having us taking a TE in the early rounds though.

The only reason you believe that he did what we needed was that other players made up for his deficiencies during the regular season and/or you are comfortable with playing road playoff games.

The combine is such crap.  I wish there was a breakdown of how well guys have done in the NFL who were combine stars who didn't have good game film from college, versus how well guys have done who had great game film from college but poor combine results.

When viewing guys from the lower conferences, I suppose combine results should matter more. For the top conferences, game film is all you should need to pick a great player, IMO.

Pete, i can assure u that mvs was not the cause of our regular szn problems. Also, both myself and the chiefs are extremely comfortable playing playoff road games.

I don't know that Gay gets more than Tranquil.  He's a mid-starter at LB that doesn't rush the passer.

For the most part, day 1 of free agency was good for the Chiefs, imo.  They didn't miss out on anybody I would want for the money spent.  I'm not going to enjoy watching Wilkins/Cosby chase Mahomes but oh well.  Tyron Smith and Mooney still on the board which are my top 2 for the Chiefs.
