The defense did enough.

Many many things to discuss about the offense, from the play calling on down, Mahomes was decent but not great.  I'm looking at personnel management and contract management, and I'm also putting the side eye on Connor Embree the WR Coach.  Just like with Hardman, my observation is that Chiefs receivers are not ball hawks, they're not going to go get the ball, if it's not a perfectly thrown ball then chances are they're not going to go get it, they're not going to make an adjustment . . . most of the time just forget about it, and last night that even applied if they got hit in the hands.

Embarrassing effort for a unit that's in the NFL and between them and Andy being cute as expected, that cost the Chiefs the game.

honestly for me, the only coaching decision that I questioned was the cute play on 3rd and 1, it seemed weird.  But let's be honest, Andy has won a bunch of games and a couple of Super Bowls here by doing those weird cute plays.  This one just didn't end up working.

We win the game with a healthy Kelce because he's getting some of those crucial targets at the end that our other guys dropped.

He didn't really have the 2 minute warning, because the punt would have pushed the clock past 2 minutes. If the team would have got a 3 and out to force a field goal, it would be worth discussing, but they couldn't do that, so if anything, he was right.

afaik i have never seen a new NFL player deal that does not include any additional years. just more money available this year via incentives, then he becomes a free agent after 2023? weird
