Yeah it's not hard to understand. He wants to be a head coach and feels he needs to prove himself on his own. he's interviewed with damn near every NFL team in the last 4 off seasons and been passed over despite being the most qualified OC in human history

Maybe he can turn Sam Howell into the next Mahomes.

It was the only logical move for EB

Free country. If he wants to be a head coach, then I agree with his choice to move on.  I just think the commanders organization and their personnel are a bad choice and seems a like a super risky reach.

on the contrary, he's inheriting a bad offense. If they are even mediocre next seas he can take a ton of credit. They were 18.9 PPG, not hard to see them improving a lot!

Rivera has generally fielded competitive teams with shitty offenses.  EB will not only get the credit but also should have them in the playoffs.

I don't know that it's the best move but he clearly wasn't getting a HC job out of KC.  I also think his options are usually somewhat limited out of KC because he's still coaching late in the playoffs every year, particularly when it comes to other coordinator jobs.

Did he interview anywhere else this year? I don't think he had any other options since his contract was up and it sounded like he wouldn't get another 1 year deal to stay in KC. Not sure it's a bad choice if it was his only choice.

The sodfather speaks out.

Amazing. I'm amazed at the attention to detail the NFL will give to so many things like socks and rules and all of that but how hands off they are about the field that the daggum Super Bowl was played on.

It hurt the Eagles more than the Chiefs.  Edge rushers.  Negated some longer Chiefs runs, tho

The fields on trays blow ass

wow, lots of toma talk itt.  toma used to live in westwood hills, i used to live in westwood hills.  got any turf questions, i’ll be sure to get them in front of toma asap.  that is, of course, if me and my toma-bros can’t answer them on our own.

Lots of people think the fans should stop doing the Toma Hawk Chop because they don't realize that it's actually in honor of this grass man and not some racist thing to do with Injuns.

I never watched any of the first 13 episodes but this one is pretty great.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUVxPA2DlqA&ab_channel=KansasCityChiefs

Some quick bullet points that stood out to me

- Pregame veterans talking up rookies/new guys about how they have been preparing for this all their life

-Kelce is the offensive "PUMP UP" guy, constantly working the O saying "MORE, MORE MORE!"

-Jones is the defensive "PUMP UP" guy/leader. My favorite moment was after Toney had that huge return he told the rest of the D to sit down and rest instead of celebrating...Everyone listened and rested until he go to Bolton who was in a huddle with coaches and just kind of ignored him.

- After Toney's first TD Reid grabbed him in a hug coming off the sideline and told him thats why he should keep his head up and it was a lovely embrace.

- When Sky Moore scored his TD it was his first TD ever and just happened to be in the Superbowl. He spiked the ball or something, Mahomes grabbed it to give it back to him to keep, he was still celebrating so Mahomes held onto it all the way back to the bench before eventually giving it to some coach/staffer.

- The embrace between Mahomes and his dad after they win is tear inducing.
JR - I love you dad
SR - I've never seen anything like you bro. You are different.
JR - I love you dad.
SR - I love you to death...damn your good.
