That's so sad, feel for my dude.

That being said: today was super fun. I think we're back!

Not surprised by the defensive momentum they have carried over since shutting down a generational talent in Daniel Jones

Go Chiefs

A generational talent who may never play football again.

The Chargers missing Slater might be as big a hit as any of them.  I really hope Jones somehow plays to take advantage of it.

He was vaxed, so just needs 2 negatives within 24 hours of each other.  I assume if we don't hear anything by game time tonight, there is a decent chance he will play.  But I am not counting on it.

this would be by far their biggest and most impressive win of the season. i don't think i will be too down on them if they play well but lose. i will be sad of course though.

meh. this year is super weird and all the AFC teams 1-7 are just a huge spiderman meme. if you're not gonna get the 1 seed* and the bye, wgaf. is being the 3 seed and hosting buffalo in round 1 really that different from being the 5 seed and playing @baltimore in round 1? i might even argue that's more desirable.

* i realize the 1 seed is still on the table for the chiefs, but even if the chiefs win out, they need both the patriots and titans to lose

Jones, Gay, Sneed, and Gordon out. They didn't make the trip.

Maybe Jones flying separate?  Weird there is no official "out" yet.

What defensive players were we missing in the first part of the year when we were getting shredded by everyone?

What defensive players were we missing in the first part of the year when we were getting shredded by everyone?

in week 3 vs the chargers, the chiefs were without:
charvarious ward
willie gay jr
melvin ingram

in addition, chris jones played most of his snaps on the edge, which he sucks complete crap at doing

juan thornhill played only 29% of snaps
daniel sorensen played 91% of snaps

this time, they will be without jones and sneed and ward and gay, which is worse than week 3 imo

the offense committed 4 (!) turnovers in week 3 and still were in position to win, so who even knows what tonight will look like.

Yeah if Ward is out tonight too, defense could look real bad.  Luckily their stud OT is out and I have heard Ekeler might not be playing either.
