I think they have spent quite a bit of time going on spiritual journeys outside of Boulder recently. He's pretty liberal.

I think I like Aaron Rodgers, but he is an odd dude.  He's all over the place, you cannot pin that guy down on one traditional US political label.  On some things he's seemed really liberal, and on others he's very barstool sportsy.

Pete I’m ok with this post but I’m not going to allow this thread to become a pit thread. I can already smell the sharks in the water

Good point.  Let's just say that I suspect that Danika had her reasons.
Aaron's fiance, Shailene Woodely,  is considered one of the biggest hippies in Hollywood and prefers alternative or natural medicine. I would bet he's more lib than Barstool.

Looks like her alternative meds didn't work.  Time to dump that broad!

Yeah, but I still hope the Chiefs take advantage of this.  :crossfingers:

Both teams should just burn the video once this game is over.

Deadspin is a shell of what it once was.  Really sad day when the suits took it over.

The deadspin core started Defector.  I haven't paid as much attention to it as I wanted, but they're out there.

Nu deadspin is busted, but I've recently reassessed how I feel about old deadspin/deflector. I think the model of the old deadspin group of columnists was to dehumanize people in sports just because they happen to be good at playing games or pays people who happen to be good at playing games.

Adding to this is these defector people were almost all east coast liberal arts college products, frequently looking down their noses at others they don't deem worthy enough. The final nail for me was these people calling the writers at nu deadspin scabs when those writers are primarily writers of color who didn't get a chance at the old deadspin.

Nu deadspin is in desperate need of good lead editors, someone with the good sense to kill articles like the one here.

It's going to be more of the same until Pat and company change up the way they do things.

But talking about that with your average ChiefTuck is a futile endeavor.

The 7 figure DC's of the NFL tend to figure things out.

Dax, have you ever considered that other people are not the problem, but maybe it's how you speak to people? Just a thought.

I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about the social media environment where rank and file ChiefsTucks are very thin skinned.

We also have several of those types on this bloq.

I know better than to engage rank and file ChiefsTucks on a mass scale.

I was out there too and also did not see any fights - there were more weirdo "Superfan" people than I thought.

I was on the upper deck and it was nice to watch from a different view than TV.  Seems like we run very few routes in the middle of the field in about the 10-15 yd range, other than Kelce hanging out there sometimes.  When we did have guys there, they were frequently open and ignored.  I think Mahomes and the offense need a little more Alex Smith in them.  The D played great but was a mess on the TD play.  They weren't fully lined up and should've used a timeout to get their crap together.  It was fun to watch Mathieu line up in one area and then, before the ball was snapped, sprint to the other side of the field and be perfectly positioned to blow up the play.  It happened multiple times and is something that I don't feel like is clearly conveyed on TV.  I do think some of it was the benefit of playing against an inexperienced QB.
