so dumb that Ingram was in town in the offseason and couldn't get signed. now that we're 4-4 let's get him for 9 games and lose a 6th rd pick

I agree, but he is playing pretty good football right now, so will take.

Defense holding their own will hopefully help Patrick and the rest of the offense relax a bit.

Also I'm sure this also means 1) Chris Jones will go back to DT and/or 2) Frank Clark is still hurt (he looked like he was limping after that last sack)

They know we need more of a pass rush. Jones looked great back inside last night. This just adds more to the pass rush, which was desperately needed, and I hope Frank is ok.

Defense completely held it's own last night, and the offense still looked like dog crap.  Even on completions, Mahomes was off target, and Kelce looks like he just doesn't give a crap.   The only reliable person on offense is Tyreek right now.  Dude played his tail off last night.

He actually hasn't been playing much at all (avg less than 50% of snaps last 3 games) which is why he wanted to be traded.

Interesting. I remember watching him vs the Bills and swore he picked up a few sacks that game.

He has had 1 sack all season... against the Raiders.  Any pass rush help we can get is good, so I don't mind giving up a 6th for him.  We would have had to pay him more in FA anyway.   But really Mahomes just needs to pull his head out.  Or fire his brother, or push that newborn back up, who knows.  We also need to run the ball a crap ton more.  They play 2 deep safeties against us like every play.  The O Line needs to man up and we should be running for 150 yards a game.

I won't argue that, but I did see signs of Mahomes settling down a bit and taking what he was given.  He still had some stupid forced errors, though.  Kelce is in a funk, but I appreciate his blocking efforts last night.  I think all these guys want to win and don't give a crap about their stats...so need take path of least resistance.

Andy and Eric B still abandon or just forget about the run at the oddest times, and still go through some of the oddest play calling sequences I've ever seen.   Reid did the same thing with the Eagles.

Discussing this drives the Chiefs Super Fans out of the minds, but it's a living reality.

It also feels like the Chiefs never drain the zone, and there seems like there's very few delay or cross patterns in this offense right now.   Watching defenses play the chiefs it literally looks like soccer defenders and the Chiefs just don't seem to adjust well.

Crazy to think Chiefs are only 1 game back from playoff spot and the teams above them aren't running away with the AFC.

Titans lost Henry
Raiders lost Gruden and Ruggs
Ravens have looked vulnerable and just had a LB get shot in the calf over the Bye week
Steelers aren't great
Bengals look vulnerable losing to the Jets
Chargers have lost their last 2

This league is very unpredictable.

Offense doesn't need fixing.  even with the epidemic of turnovers it's still awesome.

defense only needs to be a tiny bit better.

The Chiefs got better today and opened up a little cap space.

Maybe they can claim a quality veteran or two off waivers at some point (similar to getting Suggs during the Super Bowl season)

this is p much how I feel.  a lot of overreacting bc we’ve been so good the past few seasons.  i think they’ll get everything figured out.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
