Well, Mellinger's article implies that Paylor died in his sleep and he didn't go the Super Bowl because he wanted to "stay safe".   Doesn't sound like someone who committed suicide.   https://www.kansascity.com/article249129035.html
Happy to hear. Hope Jobu can move on. Others close to him suggested otherwise on twitter and the timing of everything seemed suspicious (End of his work year, etc.). Happy to hear we didn't potentially lose another great person to suicide.

damn wacky, jobu just got here
He's a sock.

Lol, no.  I've been a lurker for quite some time.  I've enjoyed reading this blog, and finally decided to join.

I wasn't trying to be confrontational, although I can see where I might have been.  I apologize for that.  When you called me a fucktard, all bets were off.  I've read enough of your dipshit fuckery to know that it's not me who is the fucktard here.

Have a good day.
Sure thing, Jobu. Welcome to the big leagues.

Thanks, wacky.  I'm honored.  Feels good to be here.

Signs are pointing to the obvious for such a young guy. Dude loved football more than any writer I know. I really hope the Super Bowl didn’t cause a trigger.

Rip Terez Paylor
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Wut

Sorry.  I'm not good at 4D chess.  Can't keep up with why I should hate the KC Star, or how the Chiefs killed Terez Paylor.

Or why I should read anything Clay Travis writes.
Nobody said the Chiefs killed, him, dumb dumb. I suggested that maybe his job took a final toll on him, if it was suicide. Keep trying though. I hope it wasn't and my assumption is way wrong.

That’s fair. We’ve seen at least three mental breakdowns w/ KSU journalists alone.

To be clear, it doesn't matter if your assumption is wrong or not. It's just unreal gross

When you see other people who were close to him tweet stuff like "Tell someone you love today, you love them,  you never know what they're going through", etc. That's where your mind goes to. Being judged by you of all people is thee least worry I'll ever have. You've showed your ass so many times on here and beyond. Have a good day.

Keep trying what? I was only going off of what you said.

If you meant that maybe the stress of his job and covering the super bowl was a trigger, then yeah, sure, I suppose that's possible.  If he even committed suicide, which is not a given.  But you left a lot of that out.  Given that Terez was a KC guy, it looked to me like you meant that KC losing the super bowl was the trigger.  But instead of explaining what you meant, you had to go and explain mental illness to me and call me a fucktard.

I hope your assumption is wrong also.  I'm new around here, but I don't think that gives you a license to come after me like that.  It's not my fault you don't know how to communicate.

Frank Clark signed a 5 year, $104,000,000 contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, including a $19,000,000 signing bonus, $62,305,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $20,800,000.

Chris Jones signed a 4 year, $80,000,000 contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, including $60,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $20,000,000. In 2021, Jones will earn a base salary of $1,000,000, a roster bonus of $20,000,000 and a workout bonus of $500,000, while carrying a cap hit of $21,875,000 and a dead cap value of $22,625,000.

i feel like these contracts are two of the biggest problems facing the chiefs in the next two years, amirong?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Not wrong.  Personally I would like to see us try to trade Jones.  Only 7.5 sacks this season, and none in the post season.  At least Clark does a decent job setting the edge on run plays, and came through in the playoffs.

I'm fine with Jones, but I feel like Clark's contract is the worst. He helped us win a Super Bowl, so I guess it is what it is, but we're going to have to be $ when it comes to drafting now.

Draft picks + veterans chasing rings is the new formula on winning Super Bowls.  Well that and keeping your core of Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, and Mathieu.

Agree completely. OL first, tackle or guard. Need them both.  Then DT and LB.  Kpass and Jones (aka sack nation) were a sack of crap this year.

You’re wrong on the Jones side. He’s worth every penny.  I’m hopeful Clark can rebound, he earned a lot of that money in last year’s playoffs but that doesn’t help the ongoing cap situation.
:adios:

the chiefs defense just doesn't pass the smell test given the $$ on the d-line and having the landlord (who is my favorite chief) playing safety.  maybe my coaching days are behind me though.
