Watching Brady and Gronk stomp our dicks in the dirt again is not fun

it's mostly been the tb defense, tho.

Is the overconfidence of a Chiefs victory by fans, non-fans, and media setting up for a huge upset for Tom Brady and a complete meltdown by Chiefs fans?  I hope not!

Guys this is what happens when you think you’re so good that you use a first round pick on a rb

This a million times.

Hopefully our front office has now learned this lesson.

Wow, If I could blast my shotgun in city limits I would kill my daily limit of crow and eat it non stop until I got sick.

No way I thought tampa would beat us.

No way I thought tampa would blow us out.

No way I thought tampa would hold us to NINE points.

No way I thought tampa would make mahomes put up a 26/49 0TD 2INT 270YD stat line.

I'm still in shock.

On the other hand our QB threw a pass in this position in the 4Q that hit our WR in the facemask while he was in the end zone but he dropped it.

Seems like everything that could go wrong did go wrong.....the NFL is a hella of a drug.

I really enjoyed Butker not missing a single extra point.

In general yes, but I think that it is a total oversimplification of the situation. You generally don't plan to have one of your stud o-lineman forgoes the season to be a doctor again due to a pandemic, and you usually don't plan to have another stud tear his Achilles in the AFC champ game. I'm sure there are other injuries as well, and yes you should plan to lose a guy, maybe two, but this season was ridic.

Patrick had so many “firsts” in that game, and not the good kind. Perfect storm of injuries, distractions (COVID barber and Eric Reid), Tampa playing best game of year, etc.  Our offensive game plan also looked really bad.  I thought not arriving in Tampa until day before would be advantageous but obviously not the case.

Final Thoughts:
I feel bad for NFL fans.  That game could have been a classic but was a blowout instead.

Halftime show was a dumpster fire.

rough ridin' Tom Brady has a realistic chance to win an 8th.

The Chiefs took a dude in the 3rd round and he opted out this season. Another one opted out because he's a Doctor too. Two pro bowlers went down due to injury. This seems kinda dumb to bitch about. crap happens.

Nobody made any plays to help #15   :frown:

The lack of help for the oline was frustrating.

Everyone is saying that Brady is the greatest athlete in history. Doesn't pass the eye test in my books.

He's probably not (it's likely impossible to determine what "greatest athlete in history" even means), but he's one of the best ever at taking a football team to the championship game and winning it. Whether it's because he knows how to pick a team or has some innate quality to drag teams over the line, he has it.
