No, nothing confirmed. Reid sidestepped the question at the press conference today.

So essentially Mahomes got Judo Chopped on the tackle and messed up his nerves?  I'm on board.

I know that is a thing. I just hadn't read anywhere that it was suggested that was what happened to Mahomes. Wasn't it confirmed that he had a concussion?

I think I am now a #NerveTruther. No matter how many times you watch the replay, he never really bonks his head forcefully against anything. He just gets his neck wrenched awkwardly, which is consistent with the #NerveTruther thesis.
You can get a concussion without actually hitting your head. Whiplash can cause one.

Nope, he just got hit in the one nerve that makes you go limp.

Looking forward to seeing him play in 6 days!

Hey man, I'm all for the nerve theory. I just want to make sure I'm not falling for another conspiracy like the time I believed a bunch of Trumpers stormed the Capitol when it was really Antifa anarchists all along. Boy was that embarrassing!

i was confused at the time because he did not get hit in the head and did not hit his head on the ground. but you can't deny the wobbling so i'm glad they kept him out (easy to say after a win).

For sure how I felt when I watched him I honestly thought the wobbling (at first) was due to his already sort of gimped leg/foot and the replace make it look like he aggravated it, though the look in his eyes kinda tells a different story.

It was seriously hard to see on that play how he hurt is head, neck sure, head, eh...

The old middle school pass out game but with pulling and twisting. Caught him right on the nerve and/or carotid artery.

they didn't have a choice once he visibly wobbled.

So that rule is good incentive to lay on the ground until you think you'll be able to stand and walk with no wobble.

iirc they consider it a concussion until he clears protocol and disproves the concussion or something like that.  but the clams info is much better than schefter's (a complete puss)

Are the Chiefs obligated to announce if he's cleared the protocol or not? Like, I don't know about NFL rules for stuff like this. Can Andy just LHC Bill Snyder this thing all week long and not say whether or not he'll play, giving the Bills more uncertainty to prepare for?

I'm pretty sure the NFL requires teams to be pretty forthcoming about injuries.

We can sit here and talk about protocols or we can take clams' Ferrari report and start celebrating our second super bowl victory in a row.
