With forecasts of negative wind chills I'm gonna have to say that it's unfortunate that Lamar Hunt cheaped out on that roof . . . which meant no Super Bowl in KC and no Final Four ever returning to KC among many things.

Just mildly perturbed that the biggest game in Arrowhead history is going to be played in very unpleasant conditions.

Hopefully it doesn't make a difference, but Brady and the Pats have a lot of experience playing huge games in these kind of conditions.

It was 25 degrees at kickoff in NE last Sunday and then it dropped into the teens with windchills in the teens, didn't seem to bother Brady too much.

In looking at that, without seeing if it was a year Brady was hurt, on the surface it looks like Brady has 6 starts in games with temps at kickoff of 21 degrees or lower.

The Pats are 5-1, hopefully Chiefense and age will slow down Brady.

Reasons I like KC:

I think Andy Reid coaches differently against the Pats. While he usually gets conservative, he knows he has to keep the pedal down against them. Belichick's teams have allowed 40 points 7 times in his tenure, 3 were to Reid. 1 was to former Reid assistant Pederson in last year's SB. Glad the Eagles are out so he has some time to give Andy pro-tips.

Home/away stats were pretty crazy for both of these teams as well. Pats have not been good on the road and both their offense and defense numbers show huge differences. Chiefs have been much better on defense at home as well.

One concern:
Belichick and Brady have played this game 12 times already, which is absurd. Andy Reid is 1-4 (I think) in this game and it will be Mahomes first. Maybe it makes Andy/Pat hungry but that is a huge gap.
