Guys, we're gonna DilferRaven/16Bronco our way to a Lombardi.

Don't worry.

DJamer ruptured his achillles.  That plan no longer is viable.

As long as the defense/special teams keeps scoring 14 to 21 points a game this team will be fine. That seems totally sustainable.

A lot of doubters in here. Not surprised. Smdh. The Chiefs just went through a very unbelievable stretch. Their resume stacks up very well to one of the best teams in the NFL. Not a lot of teams have a sweep vs the Raiders, a win at Atlanta, and a win at Denver. But yeah, I guess they have lost like 3 out of their last 29 regular season games, so anything is possible.

I'm pretty sure a lot of ppl felt the same after losing Houston for the last year and then Ford emerged. DJamer's backups did well in minimal action last week.

this season has been crazy with some incredible wins and i have enjoyed it. however, i haven't seen enough from the offense to feel confident about winning in the playoffs. would LOVE to be proven wrong.

Well yeah. I've just seen enough Broncos, Seahawks, and Baltimore teams that had similar formulas, be able to do it before.

When I put on my Gunther Cunningham Signature Edition rose amber colored glasses I think that adding a healthy Maclin to Kelce and Hill gives us a set of weapons in the passing game superior to anything I can remember.

People still won't believe the Chiefs can win when it counts.  Their playoff record is terrible going back 23 years....  The Chiefs must secure home field and a first round bye to have a realistic shot at the Super Bowl,  and even then Tom Brady JUST WON'T DIE

Guess who else had a shitty playoff record/ a non existent one before they finally broke through? The Seattle rough ridin' Seahawks, Bookcat. Shits made to be broken. Have you ever heard of the KC Royals, Stan?

The narrative alone of it won't happen, because it's been so long since it has is so stupid. Different coaches, players, management through the years. That past has nothing to do with this team.

had a very intense convo with a drunk gunther outside of the capital grille one christmas season
i was sort of worried he was going to throw me through the glass plate windows

What's pretty cool about the Chiefs, is they're really rough ridin' good, but they still leave you wondering why they're so rough ridin' good. Like how and why is this team so good? It's like the best feeling in the world!

I would pay a moderate sum just to read and expanded post of this.  Did Gun have his blue blockers on?  Dip in?

let me paint the scene for you in your minds' eyes.

the scene:  capital grille in the 64112

mid-december circa 2007-2008 timeframe

me:  paking at bar
gun: christmas dinner paking with other coaches in the private room on the right side just past the bathrooms

me:  pak'd
gun: pak'd

gun and gun's wife:  heading outside to valet stand
me:  heading outside to next pak session (falloon probably)

me:  gun, you're not driving are you?
gun: no but i could if i wanted to
gun's wife: i got him, don't worry
me:  gun you're a badass football coach
gun:  let me shake your hand
me: word
gun while mumbling stuff and still very firmly shaking my hand:  you can do anything in your life and don't you forget it

he nearly crushed my hand during our 5 minute handshake and the whole time that we talked, he stared at me right in the eyeball

we talked for a couple minutes and then he and his wife rolled.  he was more intense irl than i imagined any human being could be.

he did not have dip in but he did have glasses on, something like these-

he was very cool and very nice and every person should meet gunther cunningham once in their lifetime

I watched them last week vs Denver. They're pretty good, AJ. However, don't worry. We'll win a sloppy game and it will be like 16-13, CHIEFS!
