I like the first round pick.  Would've been more concerned with a guy who had off the field issues but his issues were with a coaching staff and one he didn't sign up for at that.  If the Chiefs think they can get along with him, he is a steal in my book.  Really no idea on anybody else but it seems like they may be drafting for need now which is a departure from the norm.  Its smart if you think you are a piece or two away from really contending I guess.

Really weird draft. I feel like the Chiefs are trying to troll the draft experts.

Does anyone have a cox account that they can share? I'm stuck at work today and Time warner isn't an option to watch the draft on nfl.com. I'll owe you, I swear.  :)

I'm ok with this draft for the Chiefs. I'm not thrilled with the Mizzou lineman, but if he can play Center I guess it might turn out ok. I really like picking Peters and I liked the two 3rds also. 4th round on can be a bit of a crap shoot but it sounds like they got a couple project ILBs, an athletic TE and DT and possession reciever all which are need areas.

They should let me do the Chiefs predictions. You know, since I've been $ doing them the last two years.

to me that looks like a list where they just picked 10 random QB's and then ranked them in order of playoff wins with current team

Alex Smith ahead of Newton, Ryan and Stafford is laughable.

it pretty much has been since the day Alex missed a wide open Cyrus Gray. I'll quit posting here about that junk though.

What has Newton, Ryan, and Stafford proven?  Just asking.  Ryan maybe has won 1 playoff game.  I don't think Stafford or Newton has.

It's usually unreadable in the off season. j-dub and cf3 scram once the Chiefs start looking alive. j-dub picked them to go like 5-11 last season.

What has Newton, Ryan, and Stafford proven?  Just asking.  Ryan maybe has won 1 playoff game.  I don't think Stafford or Newton has.

Newton won a playoff game last year. He's passed for over 3,000 yards every year, including 4,000+ his rookie season. He's also thrown 82 TD's and only 54 INT's with an average QBR of 85 in his four seasons. He has rushed for over 500 yards every season.

Ryan has had an average QBR of over 90 in his career and can actually throw the ball down the field.

Stafford has thrown for over 4,000 yards the past three seasons and threw for over 5,000 four seasons ago. He's clearly better than Smith.
