When he had his first bad game, the excuse was "wind."  I don't want that anywhere near my NFL team

His coach made the excuse. Geno isn't a slam dunk #1 pick like Luck or RG3, but he's still the player in this draft class with the highest ceiling.

Are there any NFL stadiums located in places that routinely get haboobs?

so that kind of opens up the #1 pick and we aren't just automatically going to take Joekel (sp?) right?

You would think so.  Hearing that trading down is looking more and more possible...

But if they don't trade down...who do you want?

I would boot Jackson and get a DE or get Millner at CB.

Would take Milliner.

He's a the same as a Tech system QB that played with better WRs.

I like today's moves.  Basically tells me that Jockel(SP) won't be the #1 pick.  We aren't going to pay Albert that LT money to move to guard and we won't waste a talent like Jockel at guard.

As for who to draft, can anyone jump out of the shallow end of the pool?

For real though, 610 was asking the question if we could trade to StL our #1 for their #16 and #22, would you.  I would have done this yesterday if I could.  Pick up the 2nd or 3rd QB and get a legit linebacker, corner, or D linemen.

I wouldn't be mad if they did.  I keep wanting to value the #1 at more than that but just don't think you can this year.  It would give us two potential starters and the draft is really deep at a lot of positions.

Yeah, I keep hearing the media ppl say that the draft is a very good one, except at the very top.  Two picks in the top 22 should be a very good thing in such a draft.

Also, I get the concern with Geno.  If we do that, one of them has to be a QB.

Chiefs need to upgrade their offensive line no matter what it takes.

This, you dont take on Smith's contract and then allow him to get crippled for Cassel

If we draft a cb first overall.  :flush:

1st overall acceptable:  LT, QB, pass rush DE, rough ridin' trade it

I don't think anyone really wants it.  Trading it would be the first option though.

Yeah, I see everyone with the brilliant suggestion of trading down, but who would trade up? It's great in theory, but no one else wants that spot very much either.

Hearing some talking about trading the pick to the Jets to get Revis. I want no part of Revis.

Oakland wants Geno pretty bad. Either take Geno and then trade him to Oakland or trade the pick now...  :dunno:

Here's the thing with trading it:  what does it get you?  Probably not much.  So that's pretty much it.

When the guys you would draft at number one will still be available later, why not pick up some extra picks and just draft later? Fans hate trading down but it makes a ton of sense in certain situations.

Would take if we got their #9 pick as well.

Well we wouldn't.

Can you guys think of anyone more overrated than Revis? This isn't so much a knock on him as the incessant jerking off of Revis by the media.
