Dorsey looks like a football guy. Pioli didnt look like anything having to do with football. Leg up for Dorsey.

So, in the interviews with local radio Dorsey reiterated that he makes the call in the draft room, and that the Chiefs will be taking the "best player."

This should be fun to watch!

I will watch some games this year now that they seem to be a little more serious than the last two years.

So a dude I know in Milwaukee just told me that Ted Thompson is gay.  So, there's that.

Does anybody know what Dorsey wears around the practice facility?  We know Pioli classed it up with gym shorts and flip flops.  wonder if Dorsey will wear pants, or something.

You guys think these guys will start trying to negotiate with someone soon, or just wait and pull the surprise at the draft?  I suppose it probably depends upon their interest in trading down.

Probably going to take a dip in the free agency pool first and see if anyone is available they need and like.  Once they are done with free agency pool they will take a few steps back and see what they have again...then hopefully make important draft decisions from there.   I would love to see the Chiefs pick up Jennings.  Then IMO we are solid at WR and can concentrate on OL, QB, CB, and LB in the draft.

Revis is available but I think the Chiefs would be throwing away too much money for him.

having the #1 pick isn't as exciting as I would have thought.  Although I guess stuff doesn't really start to "heat up" until after the Super Bowl

The Chiefs have more than enough money to spend.

It's a position of need.  Denver seems to be quite happy with their decision to spend a fortune on CB years ago.

What would we put in the trade package? Bowe, swap #1's and someone else decent?

Keep Bowe, keep the #1 pick, have a drink, and see what happens. After all, isn't this another "new era" for the Chiefs?

Understood and I respect your position.  That said, the Chiefs' answer to a quarterback problem is not a cornerback. I could back away from my position of keeping the #1-pick a bit if trading the #1-pick could help get an establshed QB.

I do not want Revis. I want Nnamdi, and I want to use him properly, like the Raiders did.

Agree with your sentiment. But seeing as Andy Reid was the coach of the team who used him improperly for the past 2 seasons...Seems like a bit of a gamble.

I just remembered that Reid promoted his OL coach to DC for  while.   That wasn't a very bright idea.
