Maybe his neighbor wouldn't stop vacuuming at 2am last night so Willie lost his crap and mumped up that vacuum.  Neighbor got scared and called police.  All Willie wanted was some sleep so he could destroy the Bills on Sunday.

As the boards resident Willie Gay insider all I can tell you is that he lives in Fairway so he was not at his own house when he was arrested (OP).

I am no longer having relations with his neighbor so don't have any recent updates. Maybe I should send a "U up?" Text and then just ask if she has any scoop on what happened.

Also in the state of KS at least...if cops are called for a domestic event they are required to take someone away. 

Son's mother could have easily been like "you owe me a new rough ridin' vacuum" but instead called the cops.  This was only an issue because Gay didn't live there and it wasn't his vacuum.  If he broke his own crap at his own house cops would have walked away and told the son's mother to go back to her place. 

Either way sad that this crap gets blown up right before a playoff game.  Chiefs do not have a good record with major distractions like this.
