i forced myself to watch the week 5 highlights, and my goodness that was a flukey game. the chiefs had 4 turnovers (one of which was a pick-6), plus a turnover on downs, had an interception called back due to a BS roughing the passer call, no Chris Jones, no Charvarius Ward. and Mahomes was in his "throw balls away in the dirt rather than dump off to the RB" phase
EDIT: also no Melvin Ingram, obvs
i feel way better after watching. seriously go watch the highlights, they can't hurt you anymore.

Just re-watched.  Man you are right, super flukey!  Defense was WEAK (damn you Sorensen) that first half, but did a great job of adjusting in the 2nd, even without Jones and Ward.  We should be able to take some things away from that.  Those turnovers were awful too.  They scored at least 14 pts right after they happened.  A couple dropped balls for first downs, and awful penalty calls that screwed us.  I am glad we played already this year and lost.  Now all the pressure is on Allen to get past Mahomes in the playoffs.  We should be motivated and loose for this one, just can't come out tentative again.

.500 winning percentage is far less than his overall... it's def a curse!
