That was a great trade.  We weren't drafting a pro bowl left tackle.

Brown's game fits to the Chiefs' strengths a lot more than the Ravens.  His pass blocking may go down slightly with a more pass-happy offense but he also has Thuney on his inside which will be a boost.  His run blocking will also likely improve with defenses expecting less run plays.  He's young and, provided we lock him up at some point, can build a relationship with Mahomes for a decade.  He said the right things about wanting to be a LT as a point of pride and that it's not about the money, which could be bullshit but at least shows he's smart about how he conducts himself.  I never thought the Ravens would trade him to the Chiefs without getting a 50% premium over what other teams were offering.

The late seconds should snag some contributors if not starters although I suspect the Chiefs will move at least one of the picks.

I am In Veach We Trust.  However, I was really hoping to add a veteran WR for a sweetheart I-want-a-ring deal, but maybe that still happens this summer.

Marshall

I haven't seen what the "red flag" was on him, but I saw where CBS said "Clearly some type of red flag for Marshall to fall this far."  I am still hopeful that we add another good aging possession WR to a sweetheart short term deal after roster cut backs this summer or before camp.

Under the circumstances, I think the Chiefs draft was incredible.

Congrats to the Hunt Family and the Chiefs.   With the Royals now once again showing who the Royals have been for 28 out of the last 30 plus years, that being a white hot dumpster fire.   The Chiefs, this draft, and their off-season moves have affirmed and re-affirmed their place as kings of KC sports for years upon years too come.   With arguably (and hopefully not arguably in the next 24 months), the biggest name ever in KC sports history leading the charge.

Dax, what a time to be alive. I'm trying to see Mahomes 3-4 times this season.

Our schedule is fine.  What would be looked at as the most difficult games are at home (Browns, Bills, Packers (if Rogers plays), Cowboys, and Steelers).  80,000 crazy, COVID-free Chiefs fans!

The NFL really wants this Chiefs-Baltimore "rivalry" badly I see.

It is very beneficial to win the Super Bowl as a wild card team.

I always thought it was based off of how you finished your season. I forgot they do it based off Division Winners.

It’s literally automatic scheduling. The NFL doesn’t have any discretion on who plays who.

1. Teams in your division twice each (6)
2. Teams who finished in the same spot of the division in each other division in your conference and one rotating division in the other conference (4) — this year NFC North
3. The teams in a different division in the other conference (4) — this year NFC East
4. The remaining teams in one other division in the same conference (3) — this year AFC North

I just want to know how they come up with home/away. This will be the 3rd year out of 4 that we'll be playing in Baltimore.
