Only one to clinch......I really hope the playoffs aren't a walk in the park like this reg. season has been.

I'd like to thank Philip Rivers for downing the ball twice at the end of the game and giving me a 131.10 to 131.02 victory.

 :drink:

eff you. I can't believe I lost by .8 points.

If it makes you feel any better, you only lost by .08, not .8.

Yeah... get it right.  0.8 would be 8 yards rushing.  Rivers would have had to down the ball 8 times for that to happen.  0.08 is 28.8" of rushing.

3 wr's, 2 spots to fill....whatcha think?

Mike Wallace (pitt) vs. Buffalo

Marques Colston (no) vs. Dallas

Santana Moss (wash) vs. Minnesota

I'm leaning towards Wallace and Colston

P.S., I've won 6 straight games in my league.   :emawkid:

Same question as last week.

Green-Ellis or Branch vs. Det.?

I'm leaning towards Green-Ellis again after looking at Detroit's rush defense stats.

Woodhead may get more carries this game than you think, decreasing Green-Ellis' chances of having a decent game.

However, I doubt New England passes too much in the 2nd half, assuming their comfortably ahead and want to run the clock out.

Turned out a win win. Branch woulda been the better play for me...but the Lawfirm still got me 19

Yeah, I sat Austin. In fact, I played Dez Bryant over him. The past 3 weeks, the receiver that I sit has done better than any of the three that I play. Still in first, though.

Well the Frank Gore injury mumped my crap up. I have 1 RB slot available, as well as a WR/RB slot. Any thoughts?

Bess finally had a good game last week with Henne back, thinking about him for the WR/RB slot. I don't trust Bush yet, he looked bad last week. I'm afraid SF will be down early against GB and he won't be utilized. Not sure about the Lawfirm against NYJ defense. He only had 1.9 y/per carry in the 1st game against NYJ. If Branch isn't matched up against Revis, i might play him.

I guess my thinking now is. RB - Westbrook   WR/RB - Bess

RB
Reggie Bush vs. @Cin
Westbrook vs. @GB
Green-Ellis vs. NYJ

WR
Branch vs. NYJ
Bess vs. Cle

Frank Gore injury screwed me too....  I picked up Westbrook and he is my play for now.  Look into Mike Goodson for Carolina though. I also picked him up. He has a great match-up against a terrible Seattle rush defense and has been putting up really good numbers the last few weeks. Especially in your PPR format.

On your WR's, it's a tougher decision in my opinion. Branch showed really good signs of life and chemistry with Brady on Thanksgiving, but it was against the Lions and he hasn't done it consecutively all year. I would probably go with Bess against Cleveland too.

Can't complain about RB's.  Fred Jackson has been pretty dang good the last few weeks and I just picked him up FA.  Say hello to the fantasy bench as well, Mr Bradshaw.

Apparently Westbrook didn't practice yesterday because of an ankle. So i'm sticking with Green-Ellis for now. I might change my mind depending on whether he practices the rest of the week.

Got a crucial game this week since Peyton decided to throw 4 interceptions last week and caused me to lose by 1 point, losing my division lead the week before playoffs. Winning this week is the difference between 1st place and a week 1 bye, and 4th place (even with the second best record after a loss).

got a WR question, Hartline for Miami against Cleveland at home, or Boldin for Baltimore @ Pitt. Boldin been's slacking lately, and I just picked up Hartline. Not a lot of choices left since my other backups are Britt and Sims-Walker.

at RB got Bradshaw and Mendenhall.  How is Baltimore's run defense? Seems like Mendenhall didn't do much against them at home last time.  Could pick up Ricky Williams, Sproles, or Toby Gerhart.

TE, Greg Olson @ detroit, or Gronkowski agaisnt the Jets?

Def Green Bay or Bears?

Need to maximize points this week, since I'm taking on the (for now) best team in the league.

I would go with Olsen at TE Chicago seems to be hitting their stride offensively and lets face it Detroit is going to give them plenty of opportunities in the red zone.

DEFINITELY Green Bay defense. 49er's lost Gore, their only offensive threat. Mendenhall seems like a must-start lately. There other ones I'm not so sure about.
