Heard a rumor amongst the students this past weekend that our own Dan Jennings (well former "own") may be headed to little Manhattan.......

no link, no source --- just overheard it from multiple conversations at coli and an unnamed bar.

Is there a date?

yeah

:dubious:  Didn't see one in the WV release.

I didn't even read the WV release.  I did read a date in the super secret info release to goEMAW that started this thread though.   :users:

Quote from: WVU release
Huggins said that he is expecting to play Kansas State, Miami (Fla.) and Purdue during the course of one week.

The evidence is mounting ...

Why has this info never come out before? I would definitely frequent the place more knowing that.

Love that bar and love the ping pong table.  Such a simple addition but it seems to say a lot about the place.  I really don't know why I've never brought up the EMAW ownership before.

Boom!

I'd like to see you keep the table with some real competition present.   :fatty:  Also, when the eff did you go hang out there?  I didn't think you had even been in town since that place opened (like 7 years now).

Alibi Room is owned by Brad, the dude that's always bartending and has a crap ton of tattoos.  He did not attend KSU, nor any college for that matter.   Also, I don't believe he is much of a sports fan at all.

Did he buy it within the last two years?

Nah, pretty he's had it along.   Guess maybe Brad sold it to someone else recently, I haven't been down there for probably 2 years.  Brad did have a co-owner,  pretty sure it was the dude that owns Vagabond but I don't think he went to college either.  Certainly doesn't act like a sports fan.

He must have bought that other dude's share, I had heard that something like that was going to happen.  I think Brad was wanting to take over all of it but I guess he wasn't able to secure the funds or something.  Regardless-  it's a cool place and Brad is a cool dude.  Good place to spend your money, not many owners are actually good dudes.
