I know complete retards with MBA's from Baker and University of Phoenix.  Only takes 2 years one night a week.  :blindfold:

Do not think about:  med, law (non umkc/ku), vet, science, econ

Think about: poly sci, sociology, mba, counseling

Don't think about: good schools

Think about: schools within 600 miles with long names/bad reps

Think about: schools within 600 miles with long names/bad reps cheap enough to allow you to finish with no debt

Step 1.  Get engineering degree at K-State and have good grades.
Step 2.  Go to different engineering department and say, "Hey d00dz, how bout you let me be a Master of Science.
Step 3.  Have them say, "Yes please!"
Step 4.  Profit

Though about going the snatch route but poon is my passion.  Kansas State Pooniversity offers a nice program, though I hear the southern schools offer a wider range of degree paths.

It just depends what school you're trying to go to.  There are different entrance requirements for each school obviously.  I know a lot of schools use a combination of your undergrad GPA and your GMAT/LSAT/MCAT/GRE score.  For example, say a school requires a score of 1050 to get into their MBA program.  They take your undergrad GPA x 200 and add that to your exam score (the highest score you can get on the GMAT is 800, for example).  So, if you had a 3.0 as an undergrad, you'd only need a 450 on your exam to get into that particular program (600 + 450 = 1050).

What kind of a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) only scores 450 on the GMAT?  And what kind of a shitty fifth-rate diploma mill would allow said Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to earn a 3.0?   :flush: :users:

Weakest goemawPOAT.

If your grades were consistently meh during your undergrad career, I would say that you may be in troubs. I damn near flunked out during my first half then had near 4.0 the second half, and got accepted to a shitty law school (uk). You at least need to show that you can cut the mustard somehow. I got lucky because I needed in-state tuity for cost reasons and I refused to live in TPK, so Kansas Commuter CC was there for me. I'm currently advising young'ns that are not operating purely off of student loans to go with grad school because the economy is so shitty.

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?

What field are you looking to go into? If you're looking into something like engineering, make sure they pay you at least $20,000/yr. Otherwise, not worth it. Getting in is pretty easy. You should contact professors in your field of interest and try to get a job as a GRA or GTA. Much more affordable this way, and it can help you get in if you're right on the borderline.
