As I age into an old man one of my greatest decision's was to only allow sports to bring me joy. Was I angry and disappointed right after the game? Sure, but after about an hour I was over it.
And you know what, when our Katz rip off like 5 straight wins after this I'm going to be first pumping my face off until the inevitable WTF loss and then its rinse and repeat.
I'm getting there. A loss like this would have ruined several days for me just a couple years ago. Now I went out and pressure washed the patio and used my new Ryobi pole saw to trim a couple limbs, and after I was done I forgot the game had happened for like 30 minutes. But then I got sad again when I remembered.
Baby steps.
I’m pretty much there but I still get frustrated with the same stupid mistakes and/or play calls. Like, if we play good but get mushed by better players, whatevs. It does bug the crap out of me when the special teams sucks or we throw 3 yard outs on 3rd and 5. This crap just keeps happening and it doesn’t have to. Whatevs though. I hope the Dublin bros had fun.

I find that my propensity to get irritated is directly proportional to the company I'm around when watching a game.
Example 1: when we called those two dogshit plays inside the 10 in the 2nd quarter on 3rd/4th down, after the first, I yelled, "You stupid assholes" outloud. After the second, I yelled "You god damn stupid motherfuckers" In both cases, wife/kids not at home.
Example 2: when we ran our soft, absorb contact first/get yards second QB on that 4th down play in the 4th quarter and didn't get the first down, I just shook my head. In this case, wife/kids were also watching.
Is that good/bad? I don't know. But that's where I'm at.
