Even if he did manage to run for a first down, he would still have had to override his primary directive and not fumble 10 yards backwards.

The ESPN recap reads as though it was written by their announcers:

Kansas dominated the game for long stretches but couldn't overcome itself. Daniels, who was plagued by turnovers early in the season, had two more, and the Jayhawks missed a PAT among their many special teams blunders.

Mind you, we had more points, yards and won time of possession. Oh well.

The only thing that stopped us - was us and the ridiculous play calling sequences.

A healthy Avery and we got 500 yards plus and win by 17 plus.

The defense on the other hand was unrecognizable in the 4th qtr compared to first 3. Very weird but still very fun.

My (LFBIQ) game recap:

1.  Cats should tackle better next time.
