This team is very flawed but wins are fun anyways. 2011 was probably very flawed too. Next year will be the 2012 kind of year, and I think our donors will be going all in for Avery to get him some receivers and a defense

Stan and Wyatt (in their child-like jubilation) seemed to think Daniels could have run for the first down on that last play if he hadn't hesitated mid-way.  Thoughts?

Nobady beats KU like KU beats KU

Thought we were going to trade FGs and lose it by 1 there.

Nope - our guys had the angle

Even if he did manage to run for a first down, he would still have had to override his primary directive and not fumble 10 yards backwards.

Yes, poor yourself a Scotch or take a 25 milligram gummy and enjoy that hot tub.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

No matter what happens Kansas deserved to win
Nah, they had four chances. Losers lose.

WTF??? I was in the stadium for the entire game and no one clapped for those losers. We tried to give them the game and they could take the win on a silver platter.

Absolutely the best way to win lmfao
Almost. Winning on a last-second disputed play that lights up Light pole like a red, red lollypop would be better.

The ESPN recap reads as though it was written by their announcers:
Quote
Kansas dominated the game for long stretches but couldn't overcome itself. Daniels, who was plagued by turnovers early in the season, had two more, and the Jayhawks missed a PAT among their many special teams blunders.

Mind you, we had more points, yards and won time of possession. Oh well.

Let's all be honest, as close a win as possible is always the best outcome

upon reflection, and spending some time perusing Phog posts, I'm going to agree

Really hope they can get these pesky little problems fixed. They have ISU coming to Raytown, and then @BYU.  I will be rooting hard for 'em.  :tsc:

The only thing that stopped us - was us and the ridiculous play calling sequences.

A healthy Avery and we got 500 yards plus and win by 17 plus.

The defense on the other hand was unrecognizable in the 4th qtr compared to first 3. Very weird but still very fun.

My (LFBIQ) game recap:

1.  Cats should tackle better next time.
2. Avery should run less. He will get broken.
3. Hawks are the best team with a losing record in the NCAAs.

We should raise some NIL funds and if they beat those guys we reward their players for their honorable contribution.
