Lol my watch just yelled at me for a high heart rate

I was fairly controlled in the stands during the game, but after it ended my hands were shaking from the adrenaline dump. Woof! Hell of an ending.

i think i could pretty comfortably bet my life that exactly none of these purported incidents of violence and vandalism actually happened in real life. Best case scenario is one of them rock em chalk em rayhawks drove an unwashed vehicle to town and someone used their finger to draw a dong with balls (b/c i know i personally did that to several cars with the DG sticker on the tag)

This is the correct answer.

We're at Dead Sea levels of salt 16 years in

There's still room to grow, the Dead Sea is "only" the 4th saltiest body of water in the world.

Maybe someone could answer this question: Who died in the "Dead Sea"? Also, I wonder who dumped all that salt in the water.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Has there ever been a team that has lost more close games in such soul-crushing fashion?  Poor lil bro.

The clown show to the north, perhaps?

At the conclusion of the 2023 season, Nebraska had lost 19 games by single digits over the course of the previous 3 seasons, a Division I NCAA Record.
The 2021 Nebraska Cornhuskers were the first team in Division I history to lose nine games by single digits.

Something to aspire to, I guess.

Cool/special moment for me was watching Tennant’s kick in mid-air from the West side and hearing the roar from the end zone seating start b/c people saw that it was right down the middle and had the distance.

Yeah, I sat in section 13, (adjacent to 14/15 that have the best view). From 13 you can usually tell if it's going to be close, and rely on the section next to you, so you feel them react, you react, and it ripples out. You can generally hear/feel you cheering and look out and watch the rest of stadium realize what you already know,.

I think this sort of thing happens with big KO returns as well. Best example I remember experiencing live was when Tyler Lockett housed a KO return during a night game against OSU in 2012. The roar just continued to build as more and more fans could see what was happening.

that was a fun time to be a fan. if memory serves, we were less worried about whether or not oSu would be a challenge and were more concerned about what garbage uni combo oSu was going to wear, as we are a national brand and these things matter for "eyeball test" reasons. what a time to be alive.

and we had Panjakes Production videos. I don't think anyone is doing anything like this anymore.

Sat in section 15 which sucks 98% of the time, but getting to see a safety and game winning FG from that endzone ended up being more than worth it.

I'm in Section 8 (west side, not housing, obv.) and I observed this as well. I could quickly tell it had the distance but could not at all determine if it was accurate. Hearing the roar 'wave' across the stadium was pretty cool indeed.

And now it looks like our QB headset isn't working and we're signaling in plays

We signal in every play, all season. We don't use the comms for that.
