If that tweet about Jayce transferring was about a KU, Iowa State, Nebraska, Colorado, OU player the fans would absolutely rip the crap account tweeted it out and insist that no one would ever want to leave their school. Instead of K-State social media doing that, we had people falling all over themselves to crap on Brown, our best damn wide receiver. We had the owner of a fan site quote tweeting the tweet to call Brown a team cancer. It got so bad the dude had to tweet, from the airplane to Ames, that he's focused on the game.
There isn't a fan base that we're peers too that hate our players as much as we do. People who leave keep telling us the same crap, but we keep deflecting. "Oh if you think we're bad wait until you hear Ohio State fans." Is that the standard we want, do we want to be compared to fan bases that are routinely mocked for being mean assholes? Yes, people told Will Howard to eff himself. You know the difference, he's going to have 100,000 fans cheering him on for a home playoff game in 3 weeks. Why the eff would you put up with fans who act like we've ever done anything significant when we have the history and resources of rough ridin' Baylor? I'm so rough ridin' sick of motherfuckers in this fan base acting like being decent is a weak personality trait. Yes, these people are the exception, but they're the loud as eff exception. The fans who go to games, cheer, and go home aren't the ones @ing players and coaches, being rough ridin' dickheads.
We're so rough ridin' miserable that we have KU burners standing up for our own players.
