Should we forfeit the Colorado game?
« on: October 07, 2024, 12:21:32 PM »
I'm not sure we want to subject our student-athletes to the disgusting people of the state of Colorado. The last thing we need is for Avery to step on a dirty needle and his entire football career coming to a screeching halt. They are already talking on premium message boards about how students are going to throw beer bottles full of urine at Dylan Edwards while they are high on ketamine. I'm extremely worried about the safety of our Kansas State football team. Is this game really worth it? I say we forfeit it or at least appeal that the game be played at a neutral site in Colby, Kansas. I'm so embarrassed that we have to share a conference with these wicked individuals.

Between the air quality issues, mental health crisis, substance abuse, and homelessness - Colorado just isn't a place suitable for our great young men. It would be wildly irresponsible to send them there.

I'm not sure our student athletes have been exposed to women with hairy armpits and dozens of tattoos that is the norm in Boulder.  Maybe such a road trip would expose them to the hazards of certain lifestyles, and be a good learning experience.  The question is fair, but isn't a university education meant to broaden students' horizons?

Our student athletes didn't perform well in front of effing Mormons, so maybe they'll excel in front of this skank crowd.

I don’t know who else received this hot scoop, but I heard we were preparing for the CU game day atmosphere by pumping in crowd noise featuring lots of indecipherable slurred profanities as well as teaching our guys how to properly administer narcan to any potential opposing players and fans.

Is the game so late at night because that is preferred by drug users?

I vote we hang out at the City Limits Grill right next to the big gas station. I always thought a place like Colby, KS needed a restaurant with a giant marlin hanging on the wall.

Absolutely, then after we kick the crap out of Colorado we can head on down to the B-Hive for some post game coors and cheeseburgers.

Some people feel that Boulder lacks diversity, both in its population and cultural offerings, which can make it feel even less welcoming to newcomers when they get pelted with full urine beers  :frown:

The best way to make meaningful progress is to meet people where they are. 0-10 urine beers total would be ideal, but let’s face it folks that a (crack)pipe dream. Let’s focus instead on harm reduction. Like this year let’s aim for only 9 out of every 10 bottles being urine beers, then next time it’s 8 of 10, so on and so forth. You can’t turn around the titanic on a dime, is the over-arching allegory, I suppose is what I’m saying.
