Some people feel that Boulder lacks diversity, both in its population and cultural offerings, which can make it feel even less welcoming to newcomers when they get pelted with full urine beers  :frown:

Boulder is basically Lawrence KS but instead of having good hearted Midwestern students from KS they have all the dregs from CA who couldn't get into Fresno state and just want to do drugs and throw batteries and urine water balloons on people. I'm sad we let them back into the conference (even tho they totes belong, hell their mascot is a buffalo....what animal evokes the image of the great plains more than the buffalo?!?)

i’m a huge cat fan but i’m a little worried about this game.  colorado seems like the type of team who can lose to anyone and also beat anyone.

if sanders decides to long bomb us in a way similar to how tulane did, i’m afraid we’ll be cooked.  this loss will effectively end any playoff hopes we might have had, not that I think we’re good enough for all of that anyway.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

This is exactly what they're going to try and do, not just because our secondary is suspect, but also because that's what they've attempted to do to all of their competition up to this point. Their O line doesn't appear to be big or talented enough for their run game to do much damage. If things play out like they should, I see a very similar game to Arizona, where they have a talented QB and a receiver or two, but that's about it.

I will be at this game. Consider me that meme where the army guy is standing and protecting the kid in bed from all the bullets and bombs and stuff except it's me protecting Avery from hepatitis needles and urine bottles or whatever.

well their long bomb offense is pretty effective and fun to watch

works pretty good as long as they can get there. when it doesn't get home then here comes the 40 yd bomb right down the middle of the field. If Romaine can be effective, i think we're just seeing the tip of the iceburg of what this defense could be capable of.

I don’t think we can do it like the Phil Bennett years, but we should be bringing at least 4 most snaps from various positions, though I don’t know if that would be considered a blitz w three down linemen. I dunno if sending 5 most plays is too much. They don’t protect Sanders well, and having a man locked on Hunter w/ safety help over the top most plays is probably best option. It sure would be nice to have a Julius Brents type for this matchup.

The best way to beat WR T. Hunter is to keep him off the field. We should be able to pound them into Bolivian with our run game; just gotta finish drives with TDs.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

This! Nice long sustained drives that end with TD's will break them.

Sanders is the goat at taking sacks, so blitzing every play makes sense. Old ass Dan Marino with 2 bum knees was way more mobile than him.

Apparently, the team took the suggestion to heart and decided not to show up.

Our defense is looking slower than I expected compared to Colorado.
