Coach McSweaty at Iowa State has his guys well-groomed in the art of flopping, except he may want to watch Gilbert for whiplash - Gilbert tends to go the Hunter Dickinson route of extreme flopping.  Too bad coach McSweaty (seriously, when's the last time you've seen a POLYESTER shirt on a pale man with a whitewall haircut?) didn't pay attention to Tang when Tang wanted the fan nonsense behind his bench to stop.  I think K-State fans should give coach McSweaty and his team the royal treatment when they come to the Octagon.
sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. the OOD will melt the polyester shirt off of TJ's back.

Being reported that K-State caught ISU event/coliseum staff taking video/listening in on KSU huddles during the game and texting that info to ISU coaching staff.

Farmageddon - it just means more.

Is that what Tang got pissed about with the stands?

That would explain why one of our assistant coaches was yelling something about cheating.

Not that it matters at all, but how can you not add time there at the end?  It was so obvious that there should be 2.5 seconds left.  What was the reasoning?

Time would only be added in that case if the ball was still in the offense's hand at the time of the violation. Since the clock expired while the ball was in the air, the possession ends when the shot is complete. In this case it's when the ball hits the floor since no one touched the ball before then. Essentially you can't have a shot clock violation if the ball is in fight.

Makes sense, TY.

You were talking about filming the opposing teams huddle from the stands with your buddies the other day...

I abhor their coach. I thought he looked like a douche the moment I laid eyes on him and his little shirt. His behavior during the game against our cats and since has only supported my initial feelings about him.

Have you seen the video of the lead ref walking up the court staring off into the crowd when the ISU player is elbowing finister in the face?

What's wild about this is that it was wide open, mid court.  how did no one see this.  Not just refs, but our coaches didn't call a time out and ask for the reveiw, like they have before.  Just wild.

Also, ISU's coach seems like a piece of crap.

During the next dead ball Tang was begging for a replay. He went to each referee making the replay hand signal, they passed.

Kinda weird for an AD to be that emphatic when either: (1) ISU’s coach was not willing to go out on that limb, or (2) he isn’t letting the coach talk about it at all.

Tang still has never said anything about it publicly, right?  I hope Tang continues to not address it at all.  If he didn't publicly accuse them, he owes them nothing.

I believe this is true.  In the Athletic article Tang is quoted as "“I stand by what I said in the presser wed night” (posted above).  So Tang (nor KSU) has made any public allegations to date.  It appears ISU is getting wound up based on rumors and media articles based on rumors. . . maybe they're trying to get ahead of something?
