Can't miss 3 free throws in a row in this kind of game.

Too many FTs and open 3s left on the table. Good defense after the first 10 minutes.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I like to think MIR is fighting 'clones 3 at a time in the concourse right now

thought they looked clearly less talented in the first, but i was impressed that they came back to make it competitive in the second.  they hit some big shots.

Iowa State is the worst. Their fans are huge dork goobers. Their coach is a pock-faced Manlet. Their players are egregious floppers.

I don’t respect them as people or a state.

Those stupid overalls are super dumb as well.

Woof.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Anyone got the radio on?  What's the fan issue behind our bench?

Ridiculous he got a technical after a clearly blown call but the refs apparently did nothing about this.

Also kind of adorably naïve that he thought ISU’s coach would try to fix it. Tang is like the only coach I’ve heard of who demanded (and got) classier fans.

Absolute dorks. Place wasn’t even loud except for the end either. Grown men behind the LSU bench making asses of themselves.

I wish they would get kicked out of the big 12 . They’ve always been afterthoughts in all sports until everyone else left. They’re the most proud mediocre fanbase I’ve ever seen.

I don't think I can watch us play Iowa State anymore if they're going to do crowd shots. Sloth from The Goonies is what I call an "Ames 10".

Not that it matters at all, but how can you not add time there at the end?  It was so obvious that there should be 2.5 seconds left.  What was the reasoning?

Time would only be added in that case if the ball was still in the offense's hand at the time of the violation. Since the clock expired while the ball was in the air, the possession ends when the shot is complete. In this case it's when the ball hits the floor since no one touched the ball before then. Essentially you can't have a shot clock violation if the ball is in fight.

It hit at 1.5 sec.

#10 biggest flopper in history? Probably

Rusty, it was driving me crazy, y'all didn't even see half the time he was doing it. I can't tell you how many times he was doing it off the ball too, and on both sides of the court. I haven't watched a player throw his head back so much. I seriously hope he gets a sprained neck doing that crap. My mold buddy says he does it a lot, every game. The flopping is no longer a point of emphasis, but it's still in the rule book. That guy, Gilbert, is an embarrassment, but he was also their best player tonight.

I yelled "stop throwing your head back" and some blue hair turned around and looked at me. I said see even she knows he's a flopper. Only thing even close to a negative reaction. There were a ton of K-State fans there.

Was this shown on TV? Tang went over to Otz and was clearly pointing at his bench area but Otz didn't listen to him and went ballistic about Tang going over to his coaching box. He didn't listen to anything Tang had to say, he just tried to get a T on Tang. When the game was over he and Tang talked for a very long time and Tang was dissatisfied with whatever the result of that conversation was.

I never really cared about coach smedium aka pinhead from Hellraiser before, but now I legit hate him.

Had the same thought.  Didn’t Tang actually get on the mic at some point to chastise some fan or something?  Seems like I have a memory of that.

That Coach Richard Spencer’s reaction was crying about Tang being in his coaching box made me feel bad for Tang. :(

Tang sonned the hell out of him after the game too. Good for Coach Tang.

Perry is the only guy our team that flops. I can’t stand floppers.
